Agree that it's essential that this car goes to a good home. It's not the best time of year to sell a 7 & I don't have to let it go immediately, so I'll hang on for the right buyer. Not going back to Porsche 911, although I would have another if I had more garage space. Jaguar D Type beckons - can't resist the opportunity. This is a great engine for a road-going 7 IMHO. Plenty of torque & useful enough power if you do the minor upgrades to 170-ish bhp which have previously been discussed. Robin

I,ve changed my diff from 3.92 to 3.62 LSD (6 Sp. VVC) and put 205 x 13 60s on the rear. Phil from Road Race supplied the new LSD, the change to 205s on the rear was his suggestion and I agree with him that it improves the handling balance - it also has the added benefit of a slightly larger profile than 185 x 60. My car (160 bhp) will happily pull all the revs in top and the car is significantly better with the new ratio IMHO.

I've got 13 x 6 wheels, but have 185 tyres on the front and 205 on the back which gives me a better balance than 185 all round.

I've got an air vent in the footwell which I can open or close with my foot - don't wear shoes. Caterham cagool with fleece underneath + beanie hat does the job.

with heated screen etc - can swap for my standard polished items if necessary.

Just in front of the rear wing - to prevent the rear wheel coming into the cockpit area and busting one's pelvis. Robin.

I want a couple of Yoko 021s - 205 x 13. Is George Polley the best place or does anyone know of anywhere else for a good deal? Robin.
