Was another great days competition, amazing that we both got 88.66s. I will from now on try and only have runs with the numerals 8 and 6 in... It was a bit chilly, but another well organised event, no trouble with the sound this year which was a bonus...Home for 7, car packed away, showered and curry by 8...Hope those traveling further got back safely.. Sadly my video camera recorded nothing, i think the battery in the remote may have run out, as it would have been great to see the duratec and busa side by side... Rob PS anyone thinking about running slicks my advice is to just do it...

You can also normally get a replacement sticker from the original manufacturer for a small fee.

Jeff I was about to post the opposite about my new tyres*nuts* Yes they are expensive but they are amazing, why did i wait so long to try them. Main issue is trying to go faster than normal as the grip and braking is just so different in a good way... Rob

in SS compound, used for last 3 years or so I guess. Well used, road legal just about, good for setup/test days, or trying out class 6... Can't bring to Loton but can bring to Goodwood or other events or pick up Reading/berkshire Rob...

I echo Lyns observation about not getting a warning during practice, as then you can be given a red card if you trip them again during your first timed run and you won't get a time... Strangely last year was the first time I had problems and I was always tripping the one in between madgewick and fordwater, and not lavant or the one after the chicane... If i remember correctly the first 2 are on the outside of the circuit, but the one after the chicane is on the inside. I usually also struggle with the static at goodwood with the busa, even with airbox but usually scrape by, my new even bigger silencer may help but I will be taking the practice runs carefully where I know the sound meters are...
