    BigHeads

I went down the big head route 18 months ago, but they failed quite rapidly. I have now bonded them directly to the stays with loads of sikkaflex. This seems much better.
  2. I've just booked along with two others from LADS. See you there.
  3. 2nd dibs please, if not required by Probe2.

  6. I have a softbits draught reducer, it's for series 3 with leather seats. Got it with the car and don't use it. It also has the storage bag for intercom etc.
  7. I'm also on the lookout for this part, I left mine in a car park in Spain Caterham have non in stock and when they get a batch made they charge around £80! Maybe we could borrow one, measure it and get a friendly engineer to machine some copies? I'm sure there are others that require this part, maybe a post in the general forum may increase numbers. Currently a cut down 12mm cap head bolt does the job.
  8. My leak was minimal and managable to start with, but two weeks blatting around Spain and a LADS day at curborough soon finished it off! Cant really say about the clutch, I just replaced what had been fitted by the preveous owner. But i'm sure its worth the extra expensehttp://www.lotus7.club/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/wink_smile.png
  9. HeMan You should budget for about 8 hours work, I also had an AP Racing clutch from Redline at £350, worth replacing while the lump was out. CRB + spiggot £50, Seal £30 and ARP flywheel bolts at £50. Plus you are also bound to find other stuff that needs doing. My slush fund is now drainedhttp://www.lotus7.club/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/cry_smile.png As Oily says get the correct part from him or Dave Gemzoe, who did a meticulous job for me.
  10. First check that the problem is not your sump gasket or associated seals, oil travels mysteriously. I have recently replaced my crankshaft seal, while I had the engine out also had to replace the clutch and cover, release and spiggot baring as well as flywheel bolts! So bare that in mind with your budgeting. Also make sure you get a proper replacement seal, there are some low quality ones about. If you have any questions I can reccomend a talk to Dave Gemzoe he did a fantastic job for me. Rick
