  3. As subject. Spotted on the road along the river, I was in the focus that flashed (the lights). Hope you had had a good day, the weather had been good for it. Richard
  4. It is possible to do but it is a LOT of work. ☹️ Rubbing down and polishing to mould quality will take time, effort and finally an industrial polisher. If I were you search out your local boat yard with a GRP specialist so you can pick his brains or pay him a bit of cash in hand
  5. Not mine i'm affraid, just asking for a friend. Thanks for yor replies.
  6. Done to death, but this is for a Lotus Cortina Mk1 Size required 185 x 60 13 Any Info / Help would be great Thanks Richard

  8. As the title suggests. In the Berks / Surrey area, and how much are they?
  9. Couldn't work out if it was me or the car getting too hot and bothered! I eventually gave up and cut through Slough instead, it just took me an hour to get to Windsor instead of 15 mins I can't complain too much as I had spent the weekend blatting around the cotswolds Just looked at your link and realised that I think I admired your car at the Toyota British Grand Prix day. The Ali Nose is a beautiful piece of craftmanship. Edited by - Richard Ryland on 7 Aug 2006 14:44:56
  10. It was a great day for a blat, traffic a bit heavy, but that just makes thing more fun, when there are places to overtake 😬 What was the motor show like 🤔 Yes, Windsor based, you 🤔
  11. Twas me. Actually Blue, but did only flash past so you may be forgiven 😬 Having forgotten about the school holidays and legoland I had to do a U turn and use my favorite back way to Windsor. Have to say that I was a little surprised by the Hummers, the thought did run through my head that I really never wanted to run into one, they are masive. You may have noticed I was nearer the verge than you! Just had to drop my brother in law back to brighton and the weather was far too nice for the tin top. Hope you had a good night where ever you were heading. (Guessing Guards Polo or China Whites party!)
  12. just grinding to a halt to sit in a traffic jam
  13. So size isn't everything ! If it shows the gate where is reverse? I believe that this can differ, Having said that will have to go and check the car. Is it sold?
  14. Too slow again! If TomB doesn't have it could I? Could collect at the next Pheonix meet. What have you replaced it with? Richard
  15. Trust me I had already sat in the que going north about an hour ealier. Spent quite a while watching the temp gauge! Not much fun, hope you had air con. Going the other way was much more enjoyable.
  16. There are a couple on ebay at the moment, about 3 days left.
  17. Am I correct in thinking that a cracked/chipped headlight will cause a fail in the MOT? If so I need 2 new headlight lenses for the 7" Halogen headlights, are these standard on C7? Also where can you get them from in the berkshire area? Need them for a iminent MOT. Not feeling very confident after reading some of the other posts. First MOT in my ownership. Richard
  18. Spotted on the Peanut roundabout in windsor about 11ish. Gutted to be out in the nic3e weather in a Fiat Punto. ☹️

Fridays have been like that the last few weeks. Don't really understand it, other than a lot of people can afford to have a long weekend. Hoping that the weather will be good on Sunday, as I might venture to Warfield for my first club meet.

Guilty. Blue with yellow, full roll cage. Got back from work and the sun was out, what can I say, went for a cross country run . You must have seen me on my way back home. I was starting to get a little cold with no heater.
