  1. I didn't see that because of the Elephant in the room! I thought it was more complicated than that. Thanks.
  2. Can anybody tell me where I can get some damper extenders for an SV? I have swapped my 16" wheels for 13" and raised/adjusted the dampers but have been told it's quite common to add damper extenders to raise another inch and get the travel in my springs back. It is definately worth a try to avoid losing my sump on the road and as pretty as the 16" are, they are not a patch on 13" with CR500'S. Does anybody know where I can get them? Cheers!
  3. Its all a matter of perspective and depends on what you want from the car. My 16" wheels look great and up until recently I was happy with that but the more confident you get and the more track days you do and winter blatting etc, the more you realise, they are not the right wheels for the car. Even the progressive way that I drive on the road now compared to when I first got a Caterham is so different that grip is important. For me, if anybody could tell me with whole hearted confidence that the XYZ tyre was stonkin on a Caterham 16" wheel and as grippy as hell, I would have bought them and never looked back. They didn't so I switched to 13" wheels with CR500's. If its dry weather road use only I had EagleF1's for a while and they were ok and dont touch the Bridgestones that ryhme with Potenza. This is like the holy grail. Watch how many views you get to this question but no solid answer! Good luck!
  4. Got em from Redline. Thanks again for your help.
  5. Thanks all. Pendennis, are they new? how much? where in Surrey are you?
  6. Having researched this matter significantly and fed up with slip sliding on most surfaces and in particular on mildly moist track days, which were not enjoyable, the answer is there aren't any! I have given up and bought 13" wheels with CR500's. The difference is like night and day! The car (SV 165BHP Rover K)has been lifted to the same height so I don't lose the sump. Good luck! Ollie
  7. Hi, I am trying to change my ride hide for a change from 16" wheels to 13" but my adjustable rear spring platforms need replacing. Caterham are quoting 2 week lead time! Does anybody know another supplier or where I can get some straight away? Your help is appreciated Ollie
  8. Hi, I'm looking to buy a Merlin Muffler just in case my noise levels are too high at the weekend. Does anybody know if the Merlin Muffler fits over the sizeable lip I seem to have at the end of my exhaust pipe?
