Its all a matter of perspective and depends on what you want from the car. My 16" wheels look great and up until recently I was happy with that but the more confident you get and the more track days you do and winter blatting etc, the more you realise, they are not the right wheels for the car. Even the progressive way that I drive on the road now compared to when I first got a Caterham is so different that grip is important.
For me, if anybody could tell me with whole hearted confidence that the XYZ tyre was stonkin on a Caterham 16" wheel and as grippy as hell, I would have bought them and never looked back. They didn't so I switched to 13" wheels with CR500's. If its dry weather road use only I had EagleF1's for a while and they were ok and dont touch the Bridgestones that ryhme with Potenza.
