  1. Just to prove everyone's experience is different :-) When I first filled my system, I found it took about 4.5l before blowing out to the catch tank. I now find it will take more like 5.5l, with minimal blow out, even on a track day. My engine is a standard 1.8K (currently) with the Caterham DS system. The catch tank is mounted up front in the upper cruciform. A couple of guys at Caterham advised me to fit it there, to minimise the blow out. So, 4-5.5 litres then :-)
  2. Just to prove everyone's experience is different :-) The capacity of my DS system was initially about 5l. I now find it will easily take 5.5l with minimal catch tank deposits. My car is a standard 1.8K, with the catch tank up front, in the cruciform. A couple of guys at Caterham recommended that spot, to minimise the blow out. So, 4-5.5 litres then :-)

  4. Tim, In a message on the SUL thread, you said something about having programmed ECUs ?? Does that mean you did MEMS maps, or have I misunderstood ? Nick
  5. Chris, I've used the Caterham rack on a Westy (I've got a 7 now, BTW). It carried a 16lb bag no bother. I used an extra strap though. I think it could take a bit more. It was 30-something quid, as I recall.
