Hi Aquaman, Any one suitable for car with full roll cage? Cheers Nick
  2. Hi Tim, Was the tonneau a factory item or specialist piece, do you reckon? Nick
  3. Hi, Anyone got any suggestions on fitting a tonneau cover to a car with a full cage? No problem on the back rail where the harnesses are mounted but behind the stantions for the screen where the two poppers attach to the corner of the scuttle, the legs of the cage are in the way. Has anyone had a custom one made or "adapted" a standard one - or is there a standard one from Caterham to be had? Sticking up the hood when I am parked seems such a bind... and even worse if its raining smile.gif Cheers Nick
  4. Hi Richard, Showing off the new toy to Nick today and he mentioned that he might be moving his HPC to widetrack... could be surplus bits then! Cheers Nick
  5. Hi Jeff, Good luck with the search... mine's an HPC now and in yellow teeth.gifteeth.gifteeth.gif Cheers Nick
  6. Sevenless for 9 days but not any longer!! Took delivery of a yellow HPC today with cycle wings and its brilliant teeth.gif Thanks to those that emailed me with cars but it's all sorted nowthumbsup.gif Cheers Nick
  7. Hi Tony, Now that looks like a nasty one... glad to see that the windscreen and cockpit are in tact... Nick
  8. Ricahrd, I must say that I am highly tempted but much like yourself selling the car, the reason I only have this money available is that I am buying another house... Certainly the colour and spec are what I'm after but its that little (actually a large!) bit extra on top of everything else that could break the camels back - well, make the wife put her foot down and say "No way, Pedro!" On the holding value front, I have been surprised that values have come down a way in the last few years and the wonderful feeling of driving an appreciating or zero depreciation vehicle is now gone. Certainly, the depreciating aspect is far less than most other cars out there bar none, but values have tumbled a bit. As the vehicle is a 3-4th vehicle and kept purely for fun I have to weigh it up against house improvements and the forthcoming extension, the wife has already dropped heavy hints about my Caterham pot so I daren't push it too much... Thus saying all of that, I could give you a ring though to have a chat... teeth.gif Nick
  9. See Allegro's reply on this thread (here) HTH Nick
  10. I'd love to oblige but out of my range...! Nick
  11. Hi Paul, Does it include everything to build the car and register it under a new plate? With my CKD kit, I got everything from Caterham in one hit and this was one of the obvious benefits of spending the money. Why haven't you built it yourself and how long have you had the kit? Cheers Nick
  12. Perhaps anyone that has just got back from the Le Mans trip and thinking of an upgrade... teeth.gif Cheers Nick
  13. I am looking for an excellent condition Supersport or HPC car to replace my immaculate classic. Must be painted (pref. yellowcool.gif with possibly cycle wings for a change! Must have high-vis weather gear (not for me - but the wifeteeth.gif) and adjustable seats. Preferably something with not too high miles and excellent condition throughout. Looking for a very good road car that will be reasonably good for long trips to new job on motorway/fast A roads I have £12k cash to spend so if anyone has a supersport or HPC or even a very desperate Superlight ownereek.gif wants the cash, please drop me an email on nick.chan@btopenworld.com or call me on 07989 475 490 Cheers Nick

  15. Hi Simon, Glad the run home was a good one - you couldn't have picked a better night to collect it biggrin.gif Hope Jo gets into the driving seat soon... The kids have just about got over your departure... teeth.gif and are pacified a little with a thought of its replacement! Cheers Nick PS I'll email on the other thread now I have your email address. Keep in touch!
  16. Yup - the car has been sold now. The kids were in tears as it went off!! Looks like I'll be looking for a replacement straight away teeth.gif Cheers for the enquiries Nick
  17. Hi Simon, I had a chat to Gary on Monday night but did say that a chap was already coming over to look at it that evening. He's had another look at it yesterday and agreed to buy it. I was going to wait till I had the cash in my hand before emailing Gary and some other interested people but it looks like the car is sold. Obviously if things change I'll let everyone know... Cheers Nick PS I didn't have harnesses fitted as the car has never been on a track and it's just another thing to struggle into with my girth teeth.gifsmile.gif
  18. Hi Tony, I am a bit of a dilemma... weather is brilliant for blatting and in two minds whether to sell the car or not. Certainly agree with your comments about modding your own car too and this is the dilemma. There has been plenty of interest from the Findit site (I only took notice of it from Andrew Russell's recent posting regarding another car for sale) so I have decided that this is the last time to try and sell it. If it doesn't go this time round I will be happy to keep it... thus saying that I did tick the "advertise for 3 months" box on the findit site!! confused.gif Cheers Nick
  19. If you are interested I could bring it down part of the way. Not bad run if the weather is nice... smile.gif Nick
  20. Hi, The car is still available and based in Newcastle-u-Lyme near Stoke. I am just in the throes of wondering whether to modify/upgrade this car rather than sell it but it is still available if you are interested. If you want some pics I can email them out when i get home tonight. Cheers Nick
  21. Have a look on a recent thread about creaking noises and you could find a smear of grease on the suspension unit will rectify things. Something to do with the suspension spring slightly rubbing on the damper (oh er, missus!) [:o} Nick cool.gif
  22. Hi Masha, Are you only interested in Vauxhall engined classics? I have an excellent condition Xflow which unless I sell soon I will go down the upgrade path.... Have a look at my advert here Since the postings, its still only done 8,700 miles.... and is on a P Reg Cheers Nick cool.gif
