  1. How early are you referring to? I have a 2008 car and the filler won't take a standard unleaded nozzle so I use a funnel when out of area
  2. Very enjoyable and informative and great value too. Thank you BookaTrack and everyone who helped make it happen. Got home in the dry too!
  3. Can someone explain how the wheel offsets change from 6" to 7" and 8" please? Thx Martin
  4. Thx for the comments guys. I spoke to Comma Technical Support (Vince) and was told that both products would be alright to use in a Sigma engine in a Caterham. On looking at the data sheets for both coolants, the Super Longlife Red does not have silicates and other additives and the G30 does. The Super Longlife Red is recommended for Ford, the G30 does not mention Ford in the manufacturers listed. These seems to indicate the Super Longlife Red to me - pity the handbook isn't more helpful.
  5. Hi Jonathan My handbook refers to Comma Xstream Red or Ford Antifrezz for Duratec or Sigma engines. CC tell me that they use Millers now as they are a race sponsor. i will check as you suggest and I am interested to see what others say on this. Thx Martin
  6. It's a Sigma 125 having a radiator swap and CC said to buy locally. Martin
  7. Is Comma G30 the same as Xstream Red as I only get offered the G30 when I ask for the Red?
  8. I use the Eurolites from Halfords. The instructions in the pack show how to fit to the lines on the headlamp glass so is easy to do (assuming you have headlamp glass with the lined pattern on of course however the instructions cover just about all options)
  9. eBay seller advises another batch of mirrors will be available in about 10 days
  10. Thx for comments and sump clearance. The 185/65 were on the car when I bought it (not new) from Caterham Midlands so was going to replace like for like etc. The 185/60 seems to be the standard fit so hence confused. Looks like I should be ok with the 185/60 then?
  11. My Roadsport is on 14" with ZV3's in 185/65/14 and they have to go! I can get AO21r's (yes road legal stock still available if I dont dither) however they are 185/60/14 - 3% difference in circumference so car will sit lower etc. Does this matter? Will I notice? Choice in 185/65/14 is limited and seems to come down to Dunlop Bluresponse or Uniroyal Rainexpert3 based on comments in other threads. Have also found a Bridgestone A001 that looks promising. Yoko's are £460 fitted for 4 whereas the others are less than half that so are they worth it for road use? Advice and comments appreciated
  12. Yes the Rain Expert hasnt been made for a while - if you find any check the year of manufacture. The RE 3 has an asymetric tread pattern - not seen any comment on here from anyone trying them yet. I am looking for 14" - not much choice around!
  13. Are there any other options for using either the frame holes or the IVA mounts? For example does any other style of mirror fit the IVA mount?
