  1. ITG(Induction Technology Group) are based in Coventry. Tel:01203 305386 Fax: 01203307999. Their filters are available for a wide range of carbs/injection set ups and are constructed from a multi layer foam to block out different grades of particles. Very well made and a helpful technical department. Cost depends on size of filter but I recall that they are about £70.00.
  2. Anna! Get back to ChitChat....this is the sensible forum!
  3. Alex, really! Now you have your wings you should appreciate that it is "Stairway to Seven."
  4. My Seven is a 2.0L 16v Vauxhall giving out about 210 bhp, rather than a K series VVC, but having used unleaded fuel of 95, 97 and 98 have to say that personally little difference has been noticed. I tend to use what I can get hold of but make sure that it is regularly filled with SUL, just in case.I like to hedge my bets! Perhaps you should try the different grades and see what best suits your set up.
  5. My 2.0 litre 16v Vauxhall, about 210 bhp, seems pretty economical on the road at about 25mpg driving in mixed traffic, but with the obligatory regulars blasts. Please dont tell the wife what this figure drops down to when sprinting and hillclimbing...she'd make me sell it for an MX 5 !!!! I reckon about 10mpg.
  6. Definitely a tough one! Look on the bright side though. If you lost your tackle, it would make wearing a six-point harness less painful, if nothing else!!
  7. My windscreen washers work automatically...everytime I go around a corner at speed (most of the time in a Seven!) the screen gets a liberal dose of screen wash. Very distracting when on the limit. Easily remedied...I just leave the bottle empty except at MOT time. Not very scientific though.
