  20. Monday 7th October 2024 THIS EVENT IS BEING SUPPORTED BY ALPHA 7. www.Alpha7.co.uk What: Caterham and Lotus 7 Club members’ Trackday in partnership with ‘MGs-on-Track’, Club-exclusive sessions at the famous Donington Park circuit. We will be running on the National Circuit as usual. Where: Donnington is located in Castle Donnington and can be accessed from the nearby M1, A50 and A42 roads. Further details can be found at www.donington-park.co.uk We have visited this famous and entertaining Derbyshire circuit for a Club trackday for the last four years and these events sold out. Clearly a popular final event for the year. As in previous years, the Club has booked the circuit on the basis that we can share track-time between ourselves and ‘MGs-on-Track’, a branch of the MG Car Club. We have reserved exclusive use of the circuit for 20 minutes per hour for C&L7C members, with MGoT participants using the remaining 40 minutes. In 2024 we are limiting the numbers to just 32 cars. This is an excellent value, sessions-based Club Trackday at Donnington Park which is a marvellous venue for the season finale. We will be running Club-exclusive sessions through the day (20 minute session per hour) to provide roughly two and a half hours of track time in total. Given the challenge and nature of this circuit, the event is not suitable for novice or first-time circuit drivers and as such, you should be at Intermediate or Experienced level to participate. We will be providing free instruction on a first-come first-served basis throughout the day, as usual. The event is subject to a 98dB drive by noise limit. The cost for a car and main driver – including the benefits listed above – is £235; an additional driver (who must be a Club member) costs £40 and any passengers are charged at £5 each. Cars will not be permitted onto the circuit unless fitted with an MSA-acceptable rollbar or roll cage. In practice, this normally means the use of the ‘trackday’ or ‘FIA’ rollbars as supplied by Caterham Cars. Please see our Trackday Safety Requirements and Recommendations document which includes guidance on rollbars. Links to Trackday Safety Requirements and Recommendations (TSSR) and Third Party Insurance are here Webshop Terms & Conditions can be found here Signing on will be online and via email before the event as in recent years. This being an MSV operated circuit the sign on process will also include the MSV online sign on and online briefing. All drivers must be members of the Caterham and Lotus Seven Club, driving Lotus 7 or Caterham cars. Non refundable costs were incurred on 13th February 2024. 21. Monday 23rd September 2024 THIS EVENT IS BEING SUPPORTED BY ALPHA 7. www.Alpha7.co.uk What: Club-exclusive sessions (with free instruction available on the day) at the famous Snetterton circuit. Where: Snetterton is located approximately ten miles northeast of Thetford on A11 from London to Norwich. Further details can be found at www.snetterton.co.uk As a result of our highly successful trackdays at Snetterton in recent year’s we’re offering a great value, sessions-based Club trackday at this famous and entertaining Norfolk circuit again in 2024. We will be running Club-exclusive sessions through the day (a 20-minute session per hour) to provide roughly two and a half hours of track time in total. Whilst this is a sessioned event (with all drivers from the Club taking to the track during our sessions) we will be limiting numbers to a maximum of 42 cars and, with instructors available without additional charge, we are welcoming drivers of all ability levels. The day is ‘noisy’, subject to a 105dB(A) limit measured statically prior to starting track activities. The cost for a car and main driver – including the benefits listed above – is £199; an additional driver (who must be a Club member) costs £40 and passengers are charged at £5 each. Cars will not be permitted onto the circuit unless fitted with an MSA-acceptable rollbar or roll cage. In practice, this normally means the use of the ‘trackday’ or ‘FIA’ rollbars as supplied by Caterham Cars. 22. Sunday 15th September 2024 THIS EVENT IS BEING SUPPORTED BY ALPHA 7. www.Alpha7.co.uk What: Experienced trackday drivers’ group running in parallel to the Club’s novice groups on the famous Lotus Cars Test Track Where: The Hethel test circuit is situated alongside the Lotus Cars UK factory, a few miles SW of Norwich and approached by a minor road off the A11 around ten miles South of Norwich off the A11. This is a Club exclusive event running as an ‘event within the event’, providing an opportunity for experienced trackday drivers to join the Club’s novices trackday at Hethel. More than three hours of track-time is on offer for the ‘Experienced Group’ during the day, likely to be as follows: 0900 – 0930 30 minutes 1000 – 1015 15 minutes 1100 – 1115 15 minutes 1200 – 1215 15 minutes 1400 – 1420 20 minutes 1500 – 1520 20 minutes 1600 – 1700 60 minutes (all members OPL) During the final hour, the track will be open to all Club members present on an OPL basis (subject to Hethel’s normal “maximum sixteen cars on track at one time” limit) allowing the novice participants to finish their day with the experience of being on track alongside a group of more seasoned trackday drivers. Originally a working airfield servicing bomber squadrons of the U.S. 8th Air Force during World War 2, the Lotus Group, founded by Colin Chapman, moved its headquarters to Hethel in 1966, where it remains in residence whilst also running the Hethel Lotus Test Track. An FIA specification purpose-built test circuit with a length of 2.2 miles and a width of 40 feet, the Lotus Test Track combines a variety of technical aspects with a series of bends, hairpin, corners and straights designed to put Lotus’ high-performance cars through their paces. The circuit went through a complete refurbishment and is now a very modern facility with concrete surfacing and kerbs throughout. The refurbished track was opened by Nigel Mansell in June 2011 when he commented on the new asphalt and larger run off areas being well suited to modern racing and performance car testing. There are no garages on site, but the paddock does have a large amount of hard standing. The day is subject to 95db drive by noise limit. The price for this special opportunity is set at £215 for a car and main driver, with an additional driver (who must be a Club member) being welcome at a cost of £40 and passengers being charged £5 each. This event is limited to just 16 cars - so book now! Cars will not be permitted onto the circuit unless fitted with an MSA-acceptable rollbar or roll cage. In practice, this normally means the use of the ‘trackday’ or ‘FIA’ rollbars as supplied by Caterham Cars. 23. Sunday 15th September 2024 THIS EVENT IS BEING SUPPORTED BY ALPHA 7. www.Alpha7.co.uk What: Exclusive Caterham and Lotus 7 Club “Novices Day” – with extended novice-friendly briefing session and extensive (free of charge) one-to-one instruction. Where: The Hethel Lotus test circuit is situated alongside the Lotus Cars UK factory, a few miles SW of Norwich and approached by a minor road off the A11 around ten miles South of Norwich off the A11. As a result of the record numbers of novice drivers attending our Club trackdays in 2023 we are delighted to offer another chance to participate in a Club Novice Trackday at the Lotus Cars test circuit in Hethel. This circuit is great fun in a Seven and as you would imagine provides a good mix of high-speed running and technical sections. This Club-exclusive event is aimed specifically at members who class themselves as a novice or newcomer, or those who may need a comprehensive refresh after a substantial period away from any track activity. It will be ideal for those who want to get on track with the Club in a friendly, supportive and structured environment. This event is limited to just 21 cars, maintaining a superb ‘instructor to driver’ ratio. Following the extended briefing session, track activity will start with members divided into three groups, with pre-allocated instructor slots. Later in the day we will move to a controlled Open Pit Lane approach – though still with a limit to the number of cars on track and with plenty of one-to-one instruction being available throughout. Hethel was originally a working airfield servicing bomber squadrons of the U.S. 8th Air Force during World War 2. The Lotus Group, founded by Colin Chapman, moved its headquarters to Hethel in 1966, where it remains in residence whilst also running the Lotus Test Track. The cost to participate is set at £215 for a car and main driver; an additional driver (who must be a Club member) will cost £65 and passengers will be welcome at £5 per head. Definitely a date to book and enjoy! Cars will not be permitted onto the circuit unless fitted with an MSA-acceptable rollbar or roll cage. In practice, this normally means the use of the ‘trackday’ or ‘FIA’ rollbars as supplied by Caterham Cars. GOODWOOD TRACKDAY

Monday 19th August 2024 THIS EVENT IS BEING SUPPORTED BY G P SEVENS. www.gpsevens.co.uk What: Caterham and Lotus 7 Club Exclusive Trackday with lunch included and free instruction available at this fabulous and historic circuit. Where: Goodwood Circuit is located 4 miles North of Chichester. Further information is available at www.goodwood.com We are delighted to have secured our first-ever Club exclusive trackday at the iconic Goodwood circuit. This is a very fast Circuit and as a result the day is not suitable for Novice or inexperienced Drivers. Goodwood is a traditional circuit both in terms of its layout, which is unchanged from the days of Sir Stirling Moss, and that it is still operated in much the same way as it always has been. The marshals are kitted out in period white overalls and the Club house is a shrine to motor racing greats. This is a wonderful and historic circuit but It is worth pointing out that where you might expect to find a crash barrier on a normal circuit, at Goodwood you quite often find an earth bank! These features are not as friendly on either you or your car as a conventional crash barrier and with run-off at a premium this is an important note to remember. This is not something to be worried about but it is good to be mindful. The number of cars and main drivers is limited to just 35 and includes free instruction. Goodwood operates a unique but highly effective form of sessions. The track operates 15-minute sessions with cars also being lined-up ready for the next session, so it effectively operates rather like an open pitlane. The noise limit is 98db static and 96db drive by. Goodwood is strict on noise regulations and any vehicle not complying will not be allowed on track, so please ensure you are confident that your car isn't over the limit. Whilst there are no garages as such at Goodwood, the paddock area has plenty of shelters for our cars, equipment and people! Many of you will have seen them at the Goodwood Revival or on film footage of Goodwood. The cost for a car and main driver is £456, with an additional driver (who must be a Club member) paying £65 and passengers being welcome at £40 each. All prices include coffee and the renowned Goodwood lunch in the Jackie Stewart Pavilion – allegedly the best lunch at a UK race circuit! This promises to be a great event at a fabulous and Iconic venue. A summers day at Goodwood really is hard to beat. Cars will not be permitted onto the circuit unless fitted with an MSA-acceptable rollbar or roll cage. In practice, this normally means the use of the ‘trackday’ or ‘FIA’ rollbars as supplied by Caterham Cars. Please see our Trackday Safety Requirements and Recommendations which includes guidance on rollbars. Links to Trackday Safety Requirements and Recommendations (TSSR) and Third Party Insurance are here Webshop Terms & Conditions can be found here Signing-on will be online and via email before the event as in recent years. Note that it will also be necessary to sign-on on the Goodwood website prior to the event. Full information will be provided in the final instructions. All drivers must be members of the Caterham and Lotus Seven Club, driving Lotus 7 or Caterham cars. What: Caterham and Lotus 7 Club members' Trackday in partnership with 'MGs-on-Track', driving on two different circuit layouts (morning and afternoon) and with free instruction available. Where: Anglesey Circuit is located on the A4080 on Anglesey’s west coast. For more details visit www.angleseycircuit.com Anglesey is a regular and very popular fixture in the Club’s trackday programme, and we are delighted to be returning to this fabulous location and circuit during mid-summer again in 2024. As is now traditional, the Club has booked the circuit on the basis that we can share track-time between ourselves and ‘MGs-on-Track’, a branch of the MG Car Club. We have reserved exclusive use of the circuit for 40 minutes per hour for C&L7C members, with MGoT participants using the remaining 20 minutes. Two different circuits will be available during the day, changing-over from Coastal to International layouts at lunchtime. Our running will commence with sessions (with participants grouped and allocated to one of two 20 minute sessions) but our intention is to move to a 40 minute per hour Open Pit Lane (OPL) format – allowing track access at any time throughout our 40 minute period – no later than lunchtime. The day will be open to drivers at all levels and we will be offering free-of-charge instruction. The fee for a car and main driver is £210; an additional driver (who must be a Club member) will cost £40 and passengers are charged at £5 each. This will be a great mid-summer Club trackday – hopefully sunny and warm as it was last year! Cars will not be permitted onto the circuit unless fitted with an MSA-acceptable rollbar or roll cage.
