Just taken this off my car it is a 4 in to 2 in to 1. This is a standard rear exit system but the previous owner had neatly converted it to a side exit. I still have the rear exit pipe but never fitted it so cannot confirm its fit. It also has the heat shield. It is in good condition, the manifolds are tarnished but I periodically cleaned the exposed bits so it cleans up quite well but is NOT mirror finish. It pops and bangs very nicely but there is no way you could use this exhaust system on any trackday with a noise limit. £100. Collection would be better but I guess postage would be about £20. I can send photos of it on and off the car if anyone is interested. Thanks

Has anybody any experience of the car builder solutions can or the one sold last year by Demon Tweeks which was made by Tiger Exhausts. Both are repackable but I just wondered how effective they were at reducing noise on a crossflow and also how easily they fit the car.

Anthony, Im in Colne, I was just on a quick B & Q visit in the 7 but felt the need to go via the Padiham bye pass and down the s bends in to Brierfield as it was such a great day

The 7 I purchased a couple of years ago had been converted to a side exit type arrangement by the previous owner. I was supplied with the original tailpipe which I was going to have a go at refitting in an effort to reduce the noise level in a cost effective way for the time being. My question is, on the rear exit set up, I can see how and where the strap under the back axle goes but what bracket if any attaches to the bobbin in front of the rear wheel arch and is this attached to the pipe or the silencer. Any guidance or photos gratefully received and if anyone has any lying around for sale please let me know (I have posted in wanted also). Thanks

In an effort to try to quieten the car in a cost effective way I am going to try refitting the tailpipe given to me as a spare when I bought the car. Does anyone have lying around please the bracket that hangs the tailpipe to the car chasis near rear axle and also the bracket that holds the exhaust to the bobbin just after the silencer.
