Never had any great problems filling up with fuel, however the last twice I have filled up with fuel the nozzle keeps cutting out after about 10P *banghead* . Needless to say takes for ever to fill up. Thinking it was the flap in the filler hose I took a strong piece of wire with me today to try and push it down but didn't make any difference. Any ideas why it should suddenly misbehave?

Getting ready to take the tank filler hose off and investigate.

    Thanks, Paul.

My old Series 2 had mirrors on the top of the flared wings. They were in a tapered housing which made them quite aerodynamic and not look out of place, Have to admit they weren't great as they were too small really

First of all an orange with black stripe filling up at the petrol station next to the Canal.

Then a few minutes later 4 or 5 stuck in traffic coming into town on the London Road near Police HQ, all foreign registrations as far as I could see.

On your way from the 60th to Poole for the Ferry??

I did a swap over to EU3 and from what I can remember we had to change the engine wiring loom, immobiliser etc. and also offside engine mount, but the latter was because it was a VVC, other than that a fairly straightforward job.

Another option would be to speak to Protech Shocks, just down the road from us in Melksham. Lots of choice over length, spring rates, double adjustables etc. They did a sterling job for me even getting the right colour anodised if I was prepared to wait a little.

    Good luck whatever you decide.

  6. Always think that the 1.4 is generally under-rated Seven.

They are little fliers when revved (anything above 5,000rpm) and generally can make good progress apart from a lack of torque. Both the ones I had ran 5 speed boxes and were fine although I understand the six speed was developed for the 1.4. Good on track with sticky tyres and an apollo.

Have you considered upgrading your current car or is there a particular reason that you want to change?

    regards Paul.

  7. First was Green and Yellow in the morning, coming down Spreadeagle Hill in Melbury Abbas.

Second was blue, early evening somewhere around Bere Regis (I think?) going in the opposite direction as we were going back up to Wiltshire.
