  1. Came as somewhat of a shock to see another Seven (** 51 CAT) parked up in the Market place. So much so that I had to park opposite for a few minutes 😬 (Silver with Orange bonnet).

No doubt enjoying one of the many Coffee shops? Next time try Franco's in Swan Yard, excellent Coffee and Sicilian Pastries 🥰

A well known advertising slogan springs to mind..............................

"Should have gone to Specsavers" 😬,

It was me trundling along at spot on 30MPH, and she obviously didn't spot the bald patch on the back of my head, but thank her most profusely for her comment *wink*

Glad to see your car passed it's MOT, although I didn't doubt that it would.

I have had exactly the same problem with the old rocker switch for the wipers.

Thought I would be clever and strip the switch down, clean up the contacts as per the Hazard switch etc. and put it all back together. Worked fine the next time I had to use them but now back to not switching off, switches between the two speeds fine but not off! Have ordered a new switch from Redline which I aim to fit tomorrow before the 'Fish and Chip' run as it looks like I might need them.

Hadn't thought that it might be the Park switch on the Motor *rolleyes*

It is the nearside one, raided my spares collection and found three offside ones so obviously have always had the nearside one fail on previous cars!!

You might be interested in the Burrington Blat on the 13th as well?

    Hi Chris,

Strangely enough just did a quick check before MOT this week and found that I also have a split gaiter, looks like an easier job than I thought, thanks!!

Are you up for the Fish and Chip run again?

    Regards Paul.

  6. Had the same, leaking from the housing last year after taking the engine out and replacing the thermostat as a precaution. All fine until run up to temperature and then it leaked from the join. On the third attempt at fixing I decided to use the old rubber ring instead of the new one (which came with the new housing) and it was either luck or skill but it has been fine ever since .

    Andy,

Based in Seend, just outside Devizes, so not too far from Winchester? Quite often down around Bournemouth if that would be any better for you?
