    Ferrari Enzo

It's in the Metro newspaper today as likely to be the most expensive thing sold on eBay - currently it is Maggies handbag that holds the record.

    Charity

Perhaps the Sheds should also discuss this... ...so I suggest this one here Fulfills all shedly criteria - it is a shed, mentions an engine and is a charity! 😬

Delbert - I think you missed out a U in your anagram!!! Anyone want to rearrange??? 😳
  9. This morning at 8:15, Aldate heading towards Limehouse, silver or grey, with hood down - C7 something or other, looked like VVC.

  11. Competition time - how many rollers do you think were left intact? a)all of them b)5 😳
  12. 😳 Need my eyes tested - didn't see that when I was looking!!!
  13. Does anyone know the torque setting to do the nut up? (Haven't got the box apart yet, but my neighbour is going out to buy the tools now to do it for me!) 😬 Edited to say - it can't be too tight, coz the nut has a little flange to stop it working loose! Edited by - Lee on 1 Sep 2006 10:49:44
  14. James suggested bolting the triangular top mount to the chassis, and then getting the reverser seated and bolted in, leaving the two bolts on the triangular mount as the last two to tighten. Hopefully that won't stress them as much. They don't have the tri mount as a stock item, but want to get a batch made up. Other option is to weld the plate back together, which will do as a quick fix for now.
  15. I've discovered my top bracket is broken!!! Might explain the slight movement in the box...
  16. Elizabeth is just about to sell her 7 with your seats! (my first 7) Any idea how much oil goes in the reversing box??? I can't get hold of James Whiting to confirm oil or amount at the moment. Thanks
  17. Links for trying to find posts in future! This one suggests I need to fill with 140ml here. Is that right - I'm sure it was more than that! Oil reference here - Carlube ATF.
  18. Oooh - just posted my own about the oil to go in the reverser!!! Mine is tightly bolted in, but still moves slightly - I think I need bigger washers, as the originals are biting into the mount, and so it is working loose.
  19. Anyone know what they use in theirs? I need to get KayCee to pick some up for me today, so I can get the reverser back in tonight. I *think* I've got Castrol Driveline Syntrax Universal Transmission Fluid in mine (I found an empty bottle in the garage - can't think what else I'd use it for). Also, how much do I need? - from memory it was somewhere between 500ml and a litre. Thanks

  21. naPP - Can't do Silverstone as we're on holiday, but I think me and KayCee are coming to Brands (I'd better check with her first though!!!), so should be available for that.
