Drives superbly and obviously everything works.
This car regularly returns above 35mpg on my daily 30 mile round trip commute and will do above 50mpg on a long run. According to the on board computer, on a recent 220 mile journey it returned 55mpg at an average of 65mph. Mostly motorway driving but some going at that average speed!
Regretful sale of this lovely clean car due to the imminent arrival of a company car.
Bad bit
Approximately nine months ago whilst trying to get close to a car park ticket machine at very slow speed, the front drivers side tyre and wheel scrubbed against the kerb damaging the tyre sidewall and the wheel rim – see photos. The tyre has been checked by ATS and the Mercedes Dealer who both say it is still legal. Works perfectly well so I intended to get the wheel repaired when the tyre is worn enough to be replaced – it’s not there yet !
