  1. As im 41 with failing memory 😬 i cant remember the exact mix, recon it was 50 /50 coolant / water but it does say on the bottle. Neat is really for very cold winter motoring
  2. Yellow card Tony at least the blues are more entertaining than the Villa at the moment 😬 Ive got a can of number plate gunk to re stick the numberplate - remind me at the weekend. Alex
  3. The halfords RED coolant will be fine, i used it in my car (259 bhp 1.9k) without any problems. and yes you do add water ! 😬 Alex
  4. Davef, Does your R400 have rollerbarrel TB's ? if so......... i had a similar mystery sticking throttle that would behave 95% of time then go rock hard without warning, i traced the problem to the springs on the rollerbarrels (where the throttle cable attaches) one blast of WD40 cured the problem. regards Alex
  5. GJT, there's also a VHPD engine in the for sale section
  6. front 170 lbs" here Rear large spring here no info on site about spring rates could be around 215 lbs" rear tender spring here Alex
  7. Alex I had mine set at 4 for both road and track (pau arnos ) which worked a treat on my car, so much so i didnt change it for the curcuit !! The little locking screw doesnt seem to do a lot ! i left mine have way in and used a small screw driver to turn the setting dial to required number. I mounted the front dampers with the dial at the top ie close to body work so i could change set up easily, thats how it was when you tested my car at curborough last year, yes i know people say mount the other way for unsprung weight ect ! but its a real pain to adjust that way ! regards Alex M
  8. one very fast car with all the best bits..... have a BTTT on me.
  9. SLR69 you enter a different performance world with a 1.9k 260bhp car Its very adictive 😬 😬 😬 Having driven a CS260 and owned a 259bhp K series id say the later would stomp all over the CSR on a track, Darrens car also has the excellent Nitron dampers Darrens car is very similar to my ex ☹️ car, which goes like the wind, handles brilliantly & will provide more smiles per mile than you can image Alex
  10. If you have big engine plans ....... id think about / enquire about some chassis strengthening around the diff area regards Alex
  11. i beleive its soft cut at 7,200 rpm and max is 7,400 rpm from memory 😬 but i could be wrong
