Contact Mad Hatter at Seven Speed, he does a marvellous quick change one

Hi Ben,
2 things spring to mind (both unlikely)
If you've not played with anything since it last ran
1. Timing belt. (broken or jumped)
2. Fuel contamination (I had issues with my k series running very badly, since it was after an upgrade though DVA/Northampton Motorsport had made an error, turned out to be Tesco's fuel. Maybe fuel is the issue here, also during upgrade found the fuel line from the bulk head to the throttle body(s) had perished (on the underside, out of view) could be sucking air in. If its the fuel line Earls at Silverstone will make one up using the old unions.

It's not nice to put this sort of thing on here ( or blumimg texting it yesterday ) when you know some of us are hard at work in foreign places, with no 7 and only fizzy pop beer
Hope you had a good day....

Both James Whitting and David Andrews advised me to leave out the bottom fasteners.
Been some miles now and no issues.

Where do you get your fuel?
I've been having a similar issue until on a mates advise ran the tank right down and then filled up at a Different garage (I normally use a certain Supermarket chain as you can pay at the pump and SWMBO has a points card) problem solved.

Carl at 7 speed can source these...

Sounds good to me, I just want to build an engine as a hobby.

Thinking of some ZZR's just for track days.
I'm currently on CR500's 195/45R15 on an SV Roadsport.
Will 205/50R15's fit within my cycle wings?
Or do I need some 13" wheels and if so what size ZZR's?

With a news sump pad, new filter and new Apollo James Whithing measured 8 litres.
The Apoolo has its own drain and Since Caterham say the standard k series holds 5.5 litres I guess the Apollo and pipes holds 2.5 litres.
But I do know that james said the oil capacityfor a change without changing the sump pad was lower, I think he said 7 litres.

Hi Violet,
Talk to Carl at 7 speed he can get these for you

had mine about 1 month, torque is improved, sound is different but good in a strange way.
But add in a DVA upgrade and it really sings 😬
-
Took my standard hoses here and they made up braided hoses to suit my DVA up grade while I waited.
R300 K series won't start - NOW RUNNING!

If its not firing and the plugs are not wet, you have to wonder if fuels getting in.
I hate easy start but if that makes it fire then fuel supply is the issue.
Chech the fuel line from the tunnel to the throttle bodies ( not under the bodies) mine was really bad when turned over, both Dave and Troy said it was common.
