  1. Hi John, Many thanks for that. I did get to the root of the problem. The light on the sensor on the drive shaft was staying on for about ten teeth effectively reducing the ring from 43 to 33 teeth. A small adjustment and all was good.
  2. Am I right in thinking it's 63360 ÷ 71 1/4 x 43 = 37840 or is this complete rubbish

  4. Hi Jonathan, It's a Caerbont with wheel sensor. Single button on the front.
  5. Hi all, Hope someone can help. I need to recalibrate my Speedo but unsure of the calc formula. The car is 2015 with the 43 tooth ring, tyres are toyo r88r 185/60/14 with a rolling circumference of 71 1/4 inches. If anyone can help.
  6. Could anyone recommend an oil type/make for an open bmw diff (2015) please. Many thanks
  7. I've just fitted a set of 185/60 14 toyo r888r to my 2016 270s. The car came (in kit form) with Avon zt5 tyres. On the road and normal driving they were, let's say adequate but on the track (Which I've done 3 now) they were woeful. Haven't been out on the toyos yet, but they certainly look good. Just need to sell the Avons on now as they're taking up garage space.

  10. Thanks Neil, had a reply from Caterham via Oakmere dealer. They are going to replace screen, which I am pleased about. Have to say a big thank you to Mike at Oakmere for sorting it out very quickly. Just need to book car in when screen arrives. cheers john
  11. Thanks Jonathan. It's not causing a problem yet, but it isn't going to get better. Still waiting for a reply from Caterham. john
  12. It's in the glass. Goes opaque when damp
  13. Hi all, just noticed that my windscreen on my 2016 270s is starting to delaminate on both lower corners. The car was in kit form but the screen was factory fitted. I have contacted Caterham but not yet received a reply. Just wondered if anyone else has had similar problems . Needless to say it's out of its warranty. John
  14. Hi, sorry for the late reply. To answer your question, I have no idea, but someone on here should be able to help. If yours is a metric chassis then possibly. Not much help I'm afraid.
  15. Set of narrow/standard metric wishbones from my 2015 seven. Very good condition, only covered 1700 miles. £120 + postage.
  16. My sensor failed after just 57 miles on a new build. Luckily, Caterham exchanged it under warranty.

    Ruthin Today

Took my yougest daughter out for a short blat today and just coming into Ruthin an Extige? (with a big intake on the roof) came up behind me followed by several Elise/Extige variants, so I pulled over to let them past and there must have been sixteen or more. After several courtious waves I tagged on behind and followed them through Ruthin where they headed off towards the Horseshoe pass and me back towards Mold, I WAS MIGHTILY IMPRESSED 😬
