  1. Dave niether you or granny will stand a chance horse power staying the same but am tweaking the aero-dynamics I have it on good authority that lowering the front number plate and sticking sand paper on the tops of the rear wings will make all the difference 😬 😬 *confused* Jeff Smith
  2. Graham, Not that it really matters in the grand scheme of things , but my last run at curb 4 was a PB of 63.73 not 63.93! Also would like to say that I have had great fun competing in this, my first year of sprinting , and look forward to doing the same next year. See you at Harewood. (Cant make Wiscome ) Jeff Smith

  8. I actually went to the paddock marshall and advised him that I wouldnt be doing the last run...He crossed me off his list and called me a chicken ❗ Loton was my first hill climb and I loved it, thanks to Richard Price and everyone who gave me some invaluable advice on how to stay on the black stuff and off the green! Re weather....Bring yer wellies ❗ Its hissing it down! Forecast not to bad for tomorrow though so here's hoping for a good day. Jeff Smith
  10. Fitted my 4-2-1 from Caterham 2 weeks ago... £595 + vat. Quite easy to fit , but should have had it polished first - the black pack exhaust cover hides most of it but polished ones look better. Hole in side panel is best NOT done at 6.00AM after a night out Now looking for 5 pot Audi engine to fill the hole and stop the cat sleeping in there Jeff Smith
  11. Niel, I have just asked the same questions to Quiafe... will let you know the answer when they reply. Is the caterham LSD any good? Jeff Smith
  12. Time to fit a LSD... But which one? Ive got a 2003 1800 140 X power and want the LSD for sprinting and track days. ( and donuts ) Any recommendations please? Jeff Smith

  16. Many thanks chaps *thumbup* Very relieved to hear I hadnt done something wrong! Can now concentrate on sports exhaust, LSD, aero-screen...etc etc.. Oh and a few more scary driving tips from you Richard ❗ Look forward to seeing you all at Elvington & MIRA. 😬 😬 😬 Jeff (honest darling, these are all free upgrades!) Smith
  17. Have just fitted new apollo tank to my 2003 1800K Roadsport but now seem to be getting less oil pressure than before... Is this normal ? Previously had about 2 Bar on tickover and 4 - 4.5 Bar @ 4000 RPM when engine hot. Now only getting 1.5 Bar on tickover and 3.5 Bar max @ 4000 RPM . No leaks have been found yet ! Been looking through old threads and could only find a mention of the possibility that the caterham pressure guage is not only c@@p but is prone to giving different readings if tapped or the wire moved! Will give it a "wiggle" this evening! Any advice or links to previous threads would be gratefully appreciated. Jeff Smith
  18. The whole family came to watch on the sunday at curborough.....Not one camera between them! ☹️ Great pics of a very memorable day Thanks Jeff Smith
