Hi, Jason I too found it did not improve the overrun grind, as you describe it but I think it did reduce the clunk. I am more concerned about the vast increased in temperature of the diff and the effect on the bearings! DJ , take note how warm your diff gets before you change and after, see if there is any change.

I am sure it is getting hotter than usual because after Tuesdays track day at Cadwell and a three hour drive home on standard oil it only got warm! Has anyone else found this? Cheers Edited by - Jonathan H on 8 May 2011 09:23:20

Thought I would try some shockproof diff oil in an attempt to reduce the effect of the backlash and so reduce the "clang" when lifting off the throttle. It has improved this a little but after just a short blat of about 20 minutes the diff casing has got very hot! It says on the bottle "reduces temperatures dramatically" Has anyone using this oil noticed this? Jonathan

Hi, anyone got any good ideas on how to remove the glass from the frame without damaging the Ali, and then fit a new glass. I've got it soaking in WD40 at the moment! Thanks Jonathan

What should I look out for when taking off the cover plate. I want to check the oil level and replace the seal to stop it leaking. Is the cover locating something in the box? Many thanks Jonathan
