Just double checked mine and they should read as follows (reading from left to right)... With headlights/side lights on and rocker switches in the off posstion... Heated window. Not illuminated. Hazards, Not illuminated Rear fog. illuminated Brake check. Not illuminated Fan, illuminated Washer. illuminated Wipers. illuminated lights. illuminated. Hope this helps

All switches should light up when side/head lamps are turned on. Mine do on 1996 1.4 SS. I would check wiring behined switches to see if all is connected.

Gordon, welcome to the fold. I have No.23. 1996 metallic green with carbon cycle wings. I can certainly confirm that they make a good noise between 5,000 and 7,000. Also appear to have gone up in value by about £4,000 based on what I brought mine for from CC about 6 years ago compared to what CC and C&C are selling them for now. John

I am trying to find out what diff I have. No obvious markings except for Ford and a couple of almost unreadable numbers on the rear of the diff. When I jack the car up in neutral and turn one wheel the other moves in the same direction, but if I then stop the wheel that is moving independently and move the other wheel again they do not both move together. Reason I am asking is that I have just drained the diff oil and am wondering if I should add the LSD additive to the oil and would this hurt the diff if it is not LSD? Thanks John
