18 on track and 20/22 on road cos I am fat and so is Minty 😬 and she handles that much better with the rough and crappy surfaces..... ontrack after a few roounds even when set to 18 semi warm the pressure went up to 26, so was again dropped to 18 at which point Minty felt like she was on rails.... down side was only 10PSI left after they got cold LOL a few days later..... Could some one loan me a copy of the build manual for a 'K' series clutch to 6 speed box, Specifically the VHPD? I have been inspired , (by lack of funds, lots of free time and Missus Weirdy), to change Minty's clutch myself, with the aid of the father inlaw, (who hasn't been out in Minty yet). A donation of a sufficient type or amount will be given to LRF, to be set buy the loanee 😬 All advice, thoughts, good will, (hex's) and general banter on how to best do it quickly and in one day would also be welcome...I am hoping to do it sometime in the new year ready for my birthday and Minty's second track day in April... Colin Dunno, I will ask them IF and when I have the money to do it, I may ask them for a written Quote and breakdown... Contrary to what I have heard from other members I do trust them not to RIP me off and they have done me some amazing deals when funds have been short.... Colin IF Missus Weirdy allowed me to do such work I would be saving money hand over fist, but would also have NO idea what I was doing..... Well Hyperion have said 320 to take the engine out, plus 150 for the clutch KIT plus VAT! so about 600 notes then, need to get a weeks worth of work in addition to survival work money to pay for it.... Colin, OK, MIssus Weirdy and myself are convinced thiers somehting up with the clutch, it makes a grinding noise when depressed and the car seems to be working overtime for it to get anywhere, speeds and revs don't match the norm either.
