Thank you Roger, I'm not sure if there are now import shenanigans if posted, I'm not in a hurry though, so if you are due for a seasonal visit at some point....??
Pete, there should be some numbers cast into the side of the block - 120E 6015 for instance? The 6015 simply identifies it as a `Ford, it's the prior numbers that are the best clue.
Thank you Roger, given that a race engine is likely to be running at higher revs for more of the time I wondered if the relationship between main and air corrector jets might alter in favour of more fuel and less air, but of course I agree that testing is key.
Can anyone out there give me the full spec in terms of jets emulsion tubes etc for a pre crossflow 1500 in race tune, limited to 30mm chokes. Or point me in the direction of who might. Many thanks.
Anything considered provided it has a chassis plate and verifiable origins, ideally something that is 'tired' or maybe a stalled restoration? Grateful for any leads/contacts.
Large size, a few years old, perfectly serviceable, no damage, useful as a spare for occasional track day passengers. Prefer to give it away for the cost of delivery rather than tip it.
David, point well made, not sure why I pursue the money saving mission over critical items like this, Redline saved me a few quid and hopefully assured quality.
