  1. Metric and Imperial, 12 point, in very good condition, boxed, £80 + delivery. PM if you want pics.
  2. I'd like the racing screen please if delivery is possible (at extra cost) or where are you based? Gordon
  3. Stephen, sounds good to me no need for pics just let me know how much and by which method you would like payment, many thanks, Gordon.
  4. Thank you Roger, I'm not sure if there are now import shenanigans if posted, I'm not in a hurry though, so if you are due for a seasonal visit at some point....??
  5. Does anyone have an old style non 7 logo grill as per early crossflows I think or S2? Any condition really as long as it's not bent/twisted.
  6. Pete, there should be some numbers cast into the side of the block - 120E 6015 for instance? The 6015 simply identifies it as a `Ford, it's the prior numbers that are the best clue.
  7. Thank you Roger, given that a race engine is likely to be running at higher revs for more of the time I wondered if the relationship between main and air corrector jets might alter in favour of more fuel and less air, but of course I agree that testing is key.
  8. Can anyone out there give me the full spec in terms of jets emulsion tubes etc for a pre crossflow 1500 in race tune, limited to 30mm chokes. Or point me in the direction of who might. Many thanks.
  9. Anything considered provided it has a chassis plate and verifiable origins, ideally something that is 'tired' or maybe a stalled restoration? Grateful for any leads/contacts.
  10. Hello, can I have the head rest steady please, if your happy to ship I'm happy to pay. Regards Gordon
  11. Large size, a few years old, perfectly serviceable, no damage, useful as a spare for occasional track day passengers. Prefer to give it away for the cost of delivery rather than tip it.

    Rear Hub Nuts

Thanks everyone, helped greatly by a 2 foot breaker bar with a 70 kilo lump on the end of it, the job is done.

Chris, many thanks useful stuff, I passed on the £1.89 option......

    Rear Hub Nuts

I'm not complaining but it was £10.40 plus vat.
  15. Anyone know what the thread is that is on the end of the taper that goes through the steering arm? I thought 3/8 unf but it seems to be an oddity??

Geoff, I agree with you on the renewal point. Inflation must be rife, they're now £10.40 + each but still way better than Caterham.

David, point well made, not sure why I pursue the money saving mission over critical items like this, Redline saved me a few quid and hopefully assured quality.

Anyone tried those from KitCarDirect? Seem remarkably good value almost on the too good to be true scale....

Please tell me there is an alternative (and cheaper) source of these than the £16 odd quid per nut Caterham require????
