  1. Reluctant sale of my CSR on Piston Heads at http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2712035.htm Fantastic car built by Mick Attree. Relocation to Devon at the end of the month, to a new house which currently doesn't have a garage means she needs to be sold. Priced now at £26950 to sell. Drop me a line if interested and need any more info Cheers Gavin
  2. Quoting Smithy7: Take it mine are no good? Dave Sorry Dave but I am looking for Wide Boy SV type seats. Thanks
  3. Hi I have someone interested in my CSR 200(see for sale post )which is fitted with Caterham Carbon/Kevlar seats and runners (£660 each new). They are in very good condition 2 1/2 years old , and come with Oxted seat pads. He would prefer to have Leather SV seats on runners, anyone got a pair in very good/near new condition for a straight swap 🤔 Thanks
  4. Well spotted All done for a cleaner looking back end (Mick talked me into it!) The fog light is on a trailing lead in the boot and it can be easily mounted on the roll bar when required in a couple of minutes. The reversing light was not necessary SVA'd no problem.
  5. BTTT Now with F1 inspired inboard pushrod suspension
  6. A sad case of the head ruling the heart, but a major life change and an imminent move down to Devon means my CSR may have to go ☹️ A fantastic car built by Mick Attree in November 2008, I have enjoyed every one of my 9000 miles behind the wheel. Not sure how to post a linky but it is on Piston Heads linky below maybe null Relisted at new price £27450 Edited by - Gavin Seward on 12 May 2011 12:25:15
  7. Looking for a Cat bypass pipe for my CSR to bolt on to a Raceco can My cat is starting to rattle so figure it may be cheaper to get it off and keep for best/MOT purposes. Thanks Gavin Clio Cup Yellow CSR200
  8. I have reversed the inlet/outlet hoses to thevalve and it has reduced the amount of heat coming through the vents greatly, although there is still some heat in the footwell which I am sure is engine bay heat it is bearable Gavin CSR200 Duratecs- Lets Play!!!!
  9. I had the valve outa couple off weeks ago and blowing through it ,it appears to be shutting off OK but i suppose even a small leak through the valve, will on a long run, in warm weather start make the heater matrix fairly warm. But I will also check the ducting because even with the fan off the air flow is quite steady. Thanks guys Gavin CSR200 Duratecs- Lets Play!!!!
  10. Just returned from Le Mans 😬 in the CSR200 and the heater seems to be working all the time despite disconnecting the control cable and turning the valve shut. it was still coming through the vents and footwell. Going to have a good look at hoses etc at the weekend once its dried out but any advice would appreciated Cheers Gavin CSR200 Duratecs- Lets Play!!!!
  11. Fitted a Raceco 7" to my CSR as I found the original can painfully loud and also wanted to do some trackdays.Had it measured at 91db @ 4000RPM static(I suspect it was abit louder after the trackday) its great for touring but sounds really good when you get on the gas 😬 a good bit of kit Gavin CSR200 Duratecs- Lets Play!!!!
  12. A useful tip I picked up was (after refilling) to disconnect the inertia switch via the plug, and turn the engine over a few times to get some oil pressure back and prime the system, then reconnect and start the engine. Cheers Gavin
