  2. They are marked nr the top/bottom of the damper. Its a long number followed by either M1,M0 etc.

M0's are the standard damper fitted to road sports and I believe SLR's

M1's are classed as race dampers

M2's are a rear damper somewhere in between M0 and M1 *confused* and fitted to newer cars such are the R400.

    Much help?

  3.

VSD's are the way to go really. Correct control and soft start will cut down on noise andd starting current plus less wear and tear.

An 8kW VSD shouldn't cost the earth, I'll check our price list when the Mrs gets back with my laptop.

Johnty, do you mean Trend controls?

  4. Looking to change to an 8% rack so thought a swap might be the best way to go. Mines wide track so ideally need to swap same.

Forgot to say, its off a '97 roadsport and had a service last year with new widetrack control arms and gaiters.

  5. I have the Netgear SC101 which I'm very happy with now I have the latest drivers etc. It has its own file system and each pc that uses the drive required software installing. The drive is then seen as a local drive. It can have two drives installed (any size) and does mirroring so all you data is backed up etc.

  6. Checked for leaks last night and can't find any. Made sure every thinks was tight ie fixings to head etc and vacume pipe that goes to the ECU.

The idle is still fast (1300-1400rpm) but couldn't get to the IACV plumbing. Next time I'll see what air flow is going through the butteryfly's. Should they be fully shut with the IACV doing all the work at Idle?

  7. Mine running with VHPD zorst, 52mm TB, Veriners and a cleaned up Plenum read 139bhp at Emerald. With a lightly ported head that figure rose to 149 bhp. All on a standard EU2 Supersport MEMS.

As Dave says, it was very sweet and I kind of miss it now I've gone to an 1800.

  8. Its easy to programme via your PC and easy to use too.

I would expect that ALL your functions can be programmed and if the button isn't on the remote there are 8 buttons (which can scroll through loads of pages) at the top which can be programmed to do what ever you want.

If you like I can have a look at setting up your Hi fi on my remote and see what it comes up with.

  9. I lay the blame at my brothers feet. Trying to get all the stuff and 2 helmets into the boot of a caterham is difficult at the best of times. He then informs me that he has 2 extra pairs of shoes to pack *rolleyes*

At least he can't argue the fact as he won;t be able to post a reply on here 😬
