  1. Is it worth trying a .map file for a similar spec engine just to see if you can fire it up? I have a couple here if there isn't a suitable one on Darren's site
  2. Does a .fig file work on a K6? My map files are .map
  3. Quoting kenny.: And I may even include that in the price 😬 Kenny YHBM
  4. Thanks Kenny. Not sure about sizing but I am 6ft. Using the wifes bike at the moment so I am sure it will be an improvement

    Black rivets

Rivets are cheap enough on eBay. Example here Caterham sell the rubber trim IIRC ETA I would have thought that a bit longer than 10mm would be needed to take the washer into account? I used 14mm to fit my door sills Edited by - Dignity on 20 Mar 2012 17:56:10
  16. You could lower the rev limit on the MOT map. That will soon remind you to switch back
  17. Got one in my hand now. I reckon eye to eye is 65mm. Part no. 77198A £10 plus postage if you need it. Regards Colin
  18. I have a high effort pedal in the garage that I can measure in a couple of hours? Its new and could be for sale if you need it I have standard brake calipers with m1144 fitted to the front and the brakes are fine as long as the front bearings are tight. As sound as these loosen (often) then the brakes are carp. The previous owner fitted a bias valve as he found the rears locking first. I haven't messed about with it as it seems to be set fine.
  19. If you don't have a peel rivet to hand would a small washer do the job?
  20. Quoting TobyCoulson: I wonder how long they last before a rebuild is required or they go pop? There ain't no substitute for cubic inches 😬 Time will tell I reckon something around 180bhp ought to be attainable with some reliability which ought to make for a well sorted car??
  21. Quoting Alexander Gurr: I believe the Sigma is considerably lighter, but is a throw away engine I understand that there are one or two people on here that are pushing over 200bhp from sigmas and havn't spent mega bucks to get there. Although ultimately this doesn't compare with what is achievable with the duratec.
