  1. Hi Neil, I can't seem to PM you? No icon on your posts for them?

Had a great result from John Wood tyres. Everywhere else reported none in the country, shipment expected sometime in May.

John Wood hunted down a pair of 205 60/R13s. (apparently only 4 left in the country ). They're getting them DHL'ed to their branch in Hereford tomorrow and will then fit / balance, for less than quoted for supply only by DTs and others.

I'll phone them in the morning, then head down for fitting in the afternoon, so if the offer still stands, get the kettle on. ( But I need your address ). PM me.

    Cheers,  Clive.

  2. Remove the pads from one wheel at a time, then with someone else on the brake peddle, using a screw driver as a lever, work each of the pistons a few times. If no leaks or damage to the piston cylindrical face, you should be okay. Just be careful not to extend the piston too far and push it out of the caliper. Also take the cap off of the MC and keep an eye on the fluid levels. Replace the pads before moving on to the next wheel.
