Redline will probably have these in stock. Just tell Chris you need a set of radius arm bushes for a LA and they'll be in the post. I changed mine last year. Used a local friendly garage with a big press.

I've found that rubbing candle wax over the surface of the rubber bushes before installation seems to make them last longer. Whether it's is a form of lubrication or a protective coat I don't know, but they seem to hold together better.

Thanks guys, I'll follow those leads up.

Does anyone have a black crotch strap spare for the Caterham harness.
The one I currently have is red and I'm trying to get a complete matching harness. Dates not important so long as in good condition.
TIA. Clive.

Hi James, you have PM.
-
Hi James, that sounds like a very good option. Not heard anything from Col so far, but will give him a day or two, if you're okay with that.
many thanks, Clive

Hi Roger,
Just checked the Mrs's iTunes Library and it's less than 30GB, so if your wife is interested in selling hers, please PM me.
Do you know which generation it is?
Thanks,
Clive

Sounds like there was a spot of grease left on the disc

At around 11, he followed me back from Llanynog, through the Tenant Valley towards Bala. Peeled of on the Corwen Road I think.

Hi Cruftdog,
I assume these have now been sold? If not, I'm after a set and would definitely be interested. Can you please let me know?
Thanks,
Clive

Any harnesses going? Could be 4 or 6 point, red, black, blue, out of date?
Need a pair.
Clive.

What's the next project Martyn?
Never got that pillion ride.

New rubber now on the car. All carefully fitted and balanced. And they swapped the old tyres onto my spare rims and balanced them for £15 for the two. Great service.
-
Hi Alastair, I just told them I was L7C member. Really good service over the phone, but the proof will be tomorrow when they're fitted. Let you know how it goes.

Looks like it'll unbolt and come apart for transport ?

Hi Neil, I can't seem to PM you? No icon on your posts for them?
Had a great result from John Wood tyres. Everywhere else reported none in the country, shipment expected sometime in May.
John Wood hunted down a pair of 205 60/R13s. (apparently only 4 left in the country ). They're getting them DHL'ed to their branch in Hereford tomorrow and will then fit / balance, for less than quoted for supply only by DTs and others.
I'll phone them in the morning, then head down for fitting in the afternoon, so if the offer still stands, get the kettle on. ( But I need your address ). PM me.
Cheers, Clive.

Remove the pads from one wheel at a time, then with someone else on the brake peddle, using a screw driver as a lever, work each of the pistons a few times. If no leaks or damage to the piston cylindrical face, you should be okay. Just be careful not to extend the piston too far and push it out of the caliper. Also take the cap off of the MC and keep an eye on the fluid levels. Replace the pads before moving on to the next wheel.
