I bought a pair for my 2000 S3 .Looked at the bracketing that fitted originally and thought I had made a mistake .Couldnt figure it out .Not fitted yet but you replace the whole lot with the provided arm and bolt it into the pinch bolts on the top of the rail .Simples .Just have to figure the wiring if i want to hide it

Looking something like this , mine is an "X" reg .Does anyone have any idea how to lower this version without resorting to brute force , ignorance , saw and welding kit

SORTED . Stephen Greenald of Race Engine Calibration did a complete re map (07774773824) Dyno at Marlin Motor Engineers Milton Keynes .( 01908366256) Didn't realise how bad the mapping was . So for those with ancient , papyrus scroll ecus Well worth it

I love the idea of greasing or lubricating anything and everything that is prone to wear (except the brake pads) . Throw back to my MGB and a Defender . I have no idea how to lubricate the upright to lower wishbone joint .Hate the idea of all the wear thats going on .No nipples to play with . So , what do I do to with this set up ? Is it just a case of unbolting , splitting and a good greasing ?

An insurance company cannot invalidate the "Third Party Liability" part of a policy .Injured 3rd parties would be paid out .But if your car had no MOT , not roadworthy you would get diddly squat .

Does anybody know of a specialist who can tune an old Minizeta management system . I know not supported now , but looking to get the fuelling spot on as its running very rich ? Dont want to have to buy and get a new box of tricks set up , far to expensive .

I have a 7 with a Zetec engine . Foolishly ( i think) I removed the TPS of the throttle bodies when we took the head off . I need to reset the TPS .So , can i do it by feel ( slacken off cable , set to just tick over , then tighten back up ) or is it a case of using a laptop . If so , where on earth can i get the software ? I dont think its supported .All help appreciated Thanks
