Can you change the studs without removing the hubs?

Sorry guys it's a 2005 on KN 13 wheels with Didion axle its and ex academy car if there are any differences. also whilst on the wheel but topic, torque settings at 75nm seems really low! My Elise was 85nm which again always seemed low? on the A52 coming back from a drive over Grantham way the road is concrete and in sections, when I got back I checked the car over (one of my first drives out) and the wheel nuts were loose!

I'd like some open ended wheel nuts can anyone suggest any? m12x1.5 I believe aren't they? and straight tapper, is it 60 deg? thanks Jody.

Is there an alternative to a bag seat for the caterham? im 6ft 2", 18.5 stone and whilst I'm comfy in the car with my Tillets it is so much comfier with them out of the car. has anyone been able to use Go kart seats with success? jody.

Is there a way of measuring to check if I have it or not? does anyone know the throw of a stock shifter vs a short throw? Jody.

Thanks Jonathan. I was reading as mine is an ex academy car it may already hae one fitted!? Still on a learning curve with the Caterham platform, such a difference to the Elise platform. Jody.

Ok so approx 60mm from the lowest point of the sump.

Yes the car has adjustable platforms. im not home yet so I'll measure later, but I am sure it's more than 70mm.

So I haven't had any issues and the sump is still intact with no scraps. The car only has 1,850 mile on and was an ex academy car so the ride height and geo are as it was back in 2005/6 for the series. I just feel that the clearance to the sump and the oil filter bracket/take off is low and want to add a little support if required. I am designing something now so I will show some images when completed. Jody.

I am at work but working on a sump guard design and need to know the tube dia where it crosses just in front of the engine? Cheers, Jody.

Can you buy them? what have people made in the past? My K series is very low and I am looking into either design/building my own or purchasing one. But I cant find much on the Web.. has anyone any images? Jody.

Mine is the one with the extra side bars but it's a pain to get in. so I'm thinking of removing them to make acces easier. are all your bars 32mm Chris? jody.

Just the way the plastic hooks fit the small red ends. just feels, incorrect. I kind of expected a bigger loop I suppose. So long as it works it's fine. it's my designers head on I suppose!

If removed will it dump the box oil? mines a 2005 ex academy car that's not been used much since 2006/7 (1,650) miles when I bought it this year! Thanks guys. jode.
