    Hi Colin,I think you’ve already found one of the best little gems our area has to offer,did you go into the marina at Bradwell?there’s a nice tea/coffee/bacon type hut there ,get a lot of bikes in there on a Sunday weather permitting,another little run out I often use is to finchingfield via Chelmsford ,ford end/ great dunmow, finchingfield,sibble heddingham,halsted,Braintree,white notley,Hatfield peveral,Danbury,bicknacre back home to Basildon,.Unfortunately there’s just too much traffic in our neck of the woods,but we are fortunate enough to have brands hatch on our doorstep

    Had exactly same problem with my factory built 420r which I received in January , took it straight back ,turned out to be an unsecured handbrake cable hitting against the tunnel,hope yours is a simple as fix

    Thanks again doggydog33,all very useful information,I bought the car brand new ,there was some serious clunking noises from the rear end so booked it back to Gatwick for them to resolve.I had to be there for 8.30,when I left home it was -3 no hood on but heater on as was the seat,they were too toasty on full heat so alternated between warm and full on.Gatwick resolved some other issues one being the tps and the clunking noise turned out to be an unsecured break cable.still chilly on the way home so tried the seat,bingo no power ,checked passenger seat no power.rang Gatwick up when I got home they were a bit mystified but said they'd sort it at first service ,but thought I'd have a quick look to try and resolve,thanks again regards Dave

    Thank you for the reply doggydog33,I will try the fuse box first now I know the ampage,Gatwick were unable to help which was a worry as Dartford have only just built it
