I'm having problems when refuelling, no matter which petrol station I use, the auto shut off never clicks the pump off, so unless I'm extremely careful I end up with petrol overflowing from the filler?

#17 The alignment wasn't quite out as much as the illustration. If you struck a line between the base line and the solid line that would be more like it.

#15 I like things straight, in-line or in this case at right angles. So I did move the position ever so slightly to achieve a right angle on the fuel line.

Update on readings. Filled the tank to the brim and went out. The gauge didn't seem to stay on the full mark for as long as before, although this is a guesstimate. The gauge did in fact for the 1st time since I've owned the car drop below the 1/4 full mark, I filled her back up when the needle hit the top of the red zone. I'm very happy with these results, no more guess work when on the 1/4 full mark. Stu.

The gauge would stop at full for quite sometime then steadily go to 1/2 but I've never seen it go under the quarter mark..Which does make you try and gauge the miles done between 1/2 and just before the 1/4 mark. I haven't set the float to the bottom I've left it up a tad..My theory being when it gets close to the red I've still got a little bit more than that. (Not that I ever let it go down that low.)

Filter now cleaned nothing in the mesh to be fair. Float also set as per John Vine's guide. Fiddliest job was manoeuvring the boot floor out from the roll bar..

Thank you..Is the fuel pump located in the boot near the fuel tank, also would you know if it is a standard filter, something I can pick up from a motor factors?

Hello all, Doing a basic service this week on my 2010 Sigma 140 Supersport. Whereabouts would the fuel filter be located? I must say when I've been doing some odd jobs around the car I've never seen anything that resembles a fuel filter? TIA

The drill is under lock and key until I know the exact positioning and indeed I know exactly what I'm doing.

When fitting vinyl half doors does the top of the door run parallel with the ground or follow the slope of the body, I'm airing on the sloping with the body? The bottom poppers will be fastened to the skin not the frame of the car, is this correct or I'm I totally off the mark? I'm reliably informed that the boot cover and door fit together with double poppers from Softbits. I have the door taped in place but I'm very reluctant to drill until I'm sure it's in the correct position.The doors are second hand so already have poppers in place. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi, Looking to fit a wide angled convexed interior mirror to the windscreen. I can only find brackets that fit to the roll cage, anyone fitted the above type of mirror to the screen?

Wanted - S3 Aero screen with mirrors and centre bracket. Both carbon or GRP considered, must be in good condition..

Two rear 8 Spoke Caterham 13x8 wheels wanted. Condition isn't a big issue as these are for trackday use, must be straight and true.

Hello not wishing to hijack this post, I'm looking for some advice on my front suspension set up. My knowledge is totally nil on any type of suspension set up. I too am suffering from bump steer on any spirited drive on the road, car seems okay on the two trackdays I've done. If you look at the attached images of the front dampers there is a big difference between the near side and offside. As above I'm clueless on whether this is correct or not? All so I would be very grateful for any recommendations on where to have my car suspension checked/set up, anywhere in the North West.
