  1. I replaced my original factory plugs with the Iridium race ones after 12 months on my 270/275 Sigma. They seem better quality, and I didn't change the gap. No issues at all.
  2. Probably keep it as a bundle, but I'll see. I've now dropped the price to £250 including UK postage.
  3. GoPro Max with 128GB SD card + Roll bar mount for sale. 3 months old, as new condition. £300 inc. UK postage.
  4. As far as I know it's an MBE unit for the Sigma engine. It has a 'Super Seven 1600' label on the top. I assume the mapping is specific to the Jenvey heritage throttle bodies. Which is not great !
  5. Yeah my UK Super Seven 1600 has a standard OBD-II port behind the rubber grommet above my right knee. I got the cheap Foxwell scanner from Halfords and it works fine! Gives you both live data readings and stored error messages.
  6. Pair of leather side screen arm rests for sale, for an S3 chassis. These are 6-months old, as new. With fixing bolts. £85 inc. UK postage.
  7. I put 2 little bits of 3M Helicopter tape on the bottom edge of the rear panel as the plastic hooks are in contact with the paintwork. They would probably leave marks over time without it.
  8. So at Gatwick they drained the system and checked it all out. They reckon that it was all fine and no air lock. We shall see over the next couple of weeks. The Gatwick service team were actually very good. I arrived just after 7am (had to get around the M25), and by 7:45 the service guy was already there and they started work on it. They fixed a couple of things and by midday I was on my way.
  9. I've been testing out a Zoom H1n audio recorder, details in this post. Setting the gain can be a bit tricky, as loudness varies a lot during road driving. I used the built-in limiter and had to do some post-processing compression and EQ. Wind noise is still there, even with shields over the microphones. It's not easy getting good sound !
  10. Ok, thanks guys. It's going in to Caterham Gatwick next week for the first service, will get them to check it out.
  11. So the coolant level on my brand new car, a SS1600 (Sigma 275), is varying a lot from week to week. It was at Max when I picked it up, then when I checked the following week it was at Min. Topped it up, and then the week after it was way over Max, almost brimming, so took some out. Now this week it's back down way below Min again. It's all over the place ! Can't see any leaks, checking when cold. Is it meant to vary with heater use maybe ?
  12. So the indicator relay was easy to identify by the noise and touching the case. It's on the bottom left of the board (an unmarked relay). Haven't been able to identify the one that hangs down as yet. I tried all the lights and other electrics but couldn't feel it doing anything. I'll need to remove it and see what doesn't work..
  13. Ok, will do ! I'll check it out, and the indicator one, when I get some time over the weekend.
  14. The other fuses were identified in this thread, but I haven't identified the relays as yet. I will try and locate the indicator relay as I want to upgrade to LEDs.
