  1. Have you checked the idle control valve. If i remember correctly on the K series they have 5 wires going in to the connector so check all are seated correctly in the pins and none of the wires are fractured /shorting. If so your idle control valve wont function correctly - It allows air in to the intake when your throttle is closed to prevent stalling so could be stuck in the closed position.
  2. Hi Nick, not sure if you have access to Facebook, there’s a s3 carbon nose cone for sale on one of the groups…
  3. Hi Joseph thanks for your reply - sorry for the delay. Are you able to check whether your car has the front A frame mount on the underside of the car (rather than slightly higher up). If the mounting point is the same I’m interested
  4. I’m looking for both driver and passenger side impact bars for a 1999 imperial chassis Superlight R, in the same general triangular shape as the attached photo. My car has the front A frame mount that sits below the chassis rail (as per the 2nd photo) . thanks, Paul.
  5. Yes it’s the PitKing Caterham mirror (as per the photo in your initial post) from Demon Tweaks. Apologies, mine is an S3.
  6. I’ve recently fitted the pitking wide view mirror. Came with both equal and unequal length mounts but decided to fit the equal length as I felt it looks better and gives a good all around view (importantly covers the blind spot created from having the cage block my spa passenger mirror) - not driven with it fitted yet but seems decent quality 🙂
  7. Last year my vhpd k series was idling high and i found a number of fractures in the wires going in to the idle control valve. I took apart the connector and rewired it properly and the idle returned to normal 🙂

I have staggered r888r’s (185 fronts and 205 rears) fitted to my Superlight R, prior to that Avons. Really pleased with the Toyo’s. I think the 185’s in the toyos are slightly wider than the Avons as they contact the wing stay which then needs bending a little to create some clearance. Wondering if the nangkang’s are slightly narrower to avoid this needing to be done?
  9. Possibly the idle air control valve, if it's stuck closed then it'll struggle to start or idle without help from the throttle being opened - worth a check
