  1. Still waiting on my Spa mirrors to arrive before fitting....can't wait! One question to those who have already done.....what have you used to "plug" the holes left in the doors upon removal of the standard mirrors? Any recos, links to product etc. gratefully received! Means I can go and get something ahead of the mirrors arriving. Thanks!!
  2. Carbon Spa mirrors ordered in anticipation!!
  3. I would take a set if you go ahead. Email sent!!! Neil
  4. Hi! Anyone have any full doors for an SV model that they want to sell on? Looking for a set....condition of the vinyl needs to be OK but not fussed if the clear plastic window is less than ideal (scratched, milky etc) as they will be removed as part of a project I'm thinking about. If you have doors you are looking to offload, PM me!! Thanks! Neil
  5. Looks good! Have ordered a set and looking forward to installing mirrors that are actually usable!!!! Assume it comes with fitting instructions although doesn't look complicated!
  6. Thanks for all the info! At this stage, think I'll pass but good luck with it all!
  7. Email received from Steve regarding SV and fitting.....see below. Hope it helps! These were originally made for the S3 Chassis I don`t know if they would fit? As far as i have been told the Series 5 is just wider so technically they should fit but i cannot be 100% sure If you are happy on that basis yes I can supply these There is prework required the one Brett put in the picture has been trimmed back further and shaped with a hot air gun There are many ways to fit them I have seen people use pop studs lining them up with the original fixings. Also screwed on and even people have developed hinges for them On race cars they tend to use cable ties or industrial velcro
  8. Sorry for all the questions! One more.....fitting....how do these fit and do they come ready to fit to car or is some work needed e.g. addition of poppers? Can't tell from photos.
  9. Is it "one size fits all"? I have a 420R SV (lowered floor).
  10. I had hoped the same but alas.....still filthy!
  11. Here here! Great day was had!! Journey home on M4 Eastbound less fun.....underwater!!!!
  12. SOLD! Hi! I have one of these for sale......brand new and unused. Not even been on the car.....just unpacked and re-packed. As it's new, it is in perfect condition and comes with all the fittings, instructions, storage bag etc. It's has easy-in zips both sides and is for a Series 5 (SV or CSR) with the FIA double diagonal rollbar (code H3 as per the SBFS website). I can post pictures if anyone wants them but given it's new it's just as easy to look at the website! See link below: https://www.softbitsshop.co.uk/the-half-hood-classic---includes-storage-bag-820-p.asp Cost to buy new from SBFS is £432 and as the item is currently out of stock, you could be waiting a while before you get one! I'm looking for around £350 ONO......you save £82 and get a new half hood now vs waiting! Can work out delivery separately with anyone interested in buying it.....I'm based near Woking, Surrey if collection or meet half way works, otherwise we can have it delivered (delivery cost extra). Let me know if interested! Ta, Neil
