  1. Looking for ideally two but one will do Avon CR500 175/55 (to fit 6 inch x 13 inch Apollo front wheels) Also interested in CR500's for the rears (205/55 8" x 13") but fronts are the priority Will pay postage (or collect if in midlands)
  2. I found this and seems this guy had the same issues - his approach was to fit adjustable platform and I see from other, later posts of his, he regarded it as a great success https://caterham360build.co.uk/2018/03/06/fitting-adjustable-suspension/
  3. Thanks all - some other things to investigate
  4. Thanks for the info on dry sump. I think I'll look into the cost of that if it has a higher clearance. It may not be more expensive than having to replace a wet sump 2 or 3 times!!
  5. Unfortunately I can't measure it as the car is now in for repair
  6. I don't know whether changing the wheels on a 360s will help, but there is definitely an issue with the ground clearance - it may depend where you live and the roads you drive on but I have just taken the corner off the sump on an undulating but smooth road in the Peak District. I wasn't pushing it that hard but have previously had a few 'clatters' elsewhere. Be interested in any other views/experiences/solutions on this

    Front Tyre

Hi Does anybody know where I might be able to get an Avon CR500 175/55 R13 please? I know they were discontinued by Avon several years back and replaced with the ZZS but I have a set of CR500's on my 360s which are all fine other than the front driver's side which is worn on the inside. I've been advised that if I change the front, I should ideally change all tyres to the same type or, at the very least, have the same tyres on each axle. I know it's a long shot as they haven't been manufactured for quite a while but I wanted to see if I could get a CR500 before moving on to buying multiple tyres. Any advice or thoughts on replacement would also be appreciated - I haven't had my Caterham long so would welcome advice from those with experience/knowledge Cheers Mark
