  1. Nick, you beat me to it, but if it doesn't work out Graham put me next in the queue (though haven't yet checked to see if it will fit my Zetec). Paul
  2. Bosch do a motorcycle one and I even use it to top up the pressures on my SUV. ~£55
  3. Thanks I do and try to keep an eye on ebay but it's not my first port of call. Appreciate your help Paul
  4. Thanks for the photo. Can't find anything at the moment, but will keep looking and put the word out on other forums too.
  5. David Mitchinson has three for sale on 'Type 9 gearbox world' facebook
  6. Hi I need one of the above. Don't know if there's a badge specific to this model so even if you've only got a picture or photo of one, please send it so that at least I'd know what I'm looking for. Thanks Paul
  7. Yes, will do. Fingers crossed
  8. Got a Raceline Zetec and wondered if anyone knows the spec/dimensions of the 45mm throttle body to manifold O rings. The ones I've taken off appear to be ~52mm diameter and ~1.8mm thick. Is there a Ford part number for these or are they a Raceline special? I will phone them on Monday but they're notoriously difficult to get hold of.
  9. Yes, that's been my technique so far, but just wondering if there's something better. And there have been occasions when I worried that I'd run out of surplus!!
  10. The only acid I've got readily to hand (apart from vinegar) is descaling acid -Formic acid aka Kilrock. I'll give that a try and report back. Paul
  11. Can anyone recommend a cleaner to remove the black oxidation on (old) copper wires. I'm reassembling a '95 S3 and need to re-do a lot of the connectors both crimp and soldered. The loom, being nearly 30 years old, is showing typical signs of age but the insulation and copper are good.
  12. Pair of leather seats, apparently pre S Type according to those who know, taken from my '95 SuperSprint though not original, with runners modified for lowered floors (still got the original bench seats if anyone's interested). Scruffy and in need of some TLC but no holes or tears. £150 Buyer collects St Albans
  13. Those look really nice. Not sure how much you'll want for them (pity I've just bought a pair!)
  14. I bought a pair of these https://www.carbuilder.com/uk/halo-rim-headlamp-black-146mm but have never used them - I've now gone for the all in one (including indicators type). At £116 each new I'll take £100 for the pair. Also now redundant are the (used) Caterham mounting cones and indicator units, £20

  16. Note that the upper and lower dzus fasteners are different lengths. go to https://caterhamparts.co.uk/search?controller=search&orderby=position&orderway=desc&search_query=dzus&submit_search=
  17. Hi I have two seats with runners but no headrests. I'm thinking of installing Tillet type or similar so hadn't really considered selling and the price, They're from a '95 S3, generally good condition though a bit of re-blacking and leather treatment would do them wonders. PM me and I'll give you contact details and some further information & photos.
  18. Hi Ed The harnesses have gone but you can have the rest of the bits, no problem. Send me an email address to pcraddock1@btinternet.com and I'll send photos and other info then with your address I'll try and package up the bits, get a weight and let you know postage; bit concerned about the glass in the headlamps so may have to think about doing those separately. Would be easier to have them collected, I'm in St Albans. Charity donation to Prostate Cancer. Paul
  19. I'd hoped that would be the case, but because my car's got lowered floors the seats don't actually go far enough forward to allow this (the adjustment lever fouls the cross member)
  20. The Defender seats don't fit - just a bit too tight. So I'm back to square one............. Roll bar head/helmet rests sounds the best option. Any suggestions where I should start looking for these?
  21. Free Set Caterham/Luke four point harnesses, no date. Two 7” chrome headlights, mounting bolts/stems rusty but bowls OK’ish (surface rust) Two clutch plates and two clutch pressure plates all four appear new & unused. Got them with the vehicle so I presume that they’ll fit a Zetec/T9 Two S/S rear wing protectors. Left hand (350mm) used but good condition, right hand (395mm) brand new PM for photos Paul
  22. Hi Richard Thanks. I've sourced some headrests (actually for a Defender 90/110) but want to make sure the stem will fit in the hole before I start faffing around (turns out I'll have to take out the seats, again!, to fit them) so if you have anything like this please measure and send me the dimensions for the stem; l x b & radii. Thanks
  23. Malc Where can I look at and/or get the helmet rests that fit to the roll bar. (Should be simple, and cheap! Two U bolts, a metal plate and some padding??)
  24. Hi Malc, Paul Apologies I haven't been checking the post for answers. It's a '95 (Imperial) with, as far as I'm aware, the original Caterham seats with access holes for single stem headrests. The headrest hole is, as you can see, oval and 32mm x 16mm hole is, as you can
  25. I'm exploring after-market headrests, but because my project ('95, imperial) came without any I need full details of the headrest stem ie length, breadth, width, cross section, radii etc. Please would someone check theirs out and send these data to me. Thanks. Paul
