    Nice 21

i think 11k is a lot for a car with 30k miles on a k series SS engine -i mean comapre what 12k would buy you in a 7 Having said that i still hanker after a 21 -its like having an effette 7 with none of the drawbacks but many of the benefits Red Xflow 1600cc ,127ft/lb,150bhp

    ride quality

my advice is that if youre in dunfermline speak to mike stewart [01821 642576 Muirhouses, The Grange, Errol, Perth, Perthshire PH2 7TB,] who really knows how to set up a 7 for iether road or track -he prepares Elans for racing and is very highly regarded Red Xflow 1600cc ,127ft/lb,150bhp

    ride quality

i agree with simon ive had 2 prev dedion axle 7s - a VXE and a BDR ,as well as an Ital live axled twin cam My present lFord English ive axle xflow rides much nicer than either of dedion cars just because of the way the adjustable springs and dampers [spax]are set up -much more compliant over bumps and less skitish on the road -ive also got a front arb . So its worth getting a fully adjustable platform and getting somone who knows what they are doing to play around with it until it suits your purpose -ie mines set up for road use and would need to be adjusted to firm things up at the back for track use . So the bottom line is that a poorly set up dedion may well not ride as well as a well set up live axle -im told tby mike stewart that he ford live axle is much better than the ital axle .
