  1. Is the cable close to the Exhaust headers? On my 420 the cable was routed quite close to the headers and it melted the rubber into the inner cable and made the throttle sticky and not smooth. Had to replace and reroute the cable higher up and used some heat shield sleeving.
  2. I purchased a bench polisher just for the job on the basis that once polished I would need to re-polish at least yearly. Took an afternoon to do satisfying job.
  3. ZZS 50 profile just fit my 2015 SV Arches and stays. Previously had the CR500 45s on. As John says above welcome to try mine on, Near Horsham, West Sussex.
  4. Bright red with white stripes and angel eye headlights on A24 Dorking Bypass at about 9am this morning. Looking good
  5. Evening Marvin, Sorry but will pass, sorry to waste your time. Thank you. Jason
  6. Hi Marvin, Interested in these, what year are the tyres dated? Any where abouts in the country are you. Thanks Jason

Hi John Thanks they are not the bits I am looking for. The intake is the same as I have. Cheers

Update, Caterham came back to me and we did a deal.. Ordered an upgrade with Roller barrels today. Something has drawn me to the roller barrels against what I have read and been told. Probably explains why there is no Swmbo to get the ok from.
  10. I believe tyres are considered new up to 5 years from the manufacturer date and can be sold by Tyre suppliers as new. Saying that I brought my 2015 car with only 1300miles on it and will probably be replacing the tyres as they feel a bit hard. If in doubt wear them out.

Mossy, Did you get the superlight flywheel or keep the 360r lightweight flywheel? How does it sound?

Thanks Simon. To quote Caterham. "The engine upgrade includes upgraded camshafts, valve springs (if required) and uprated injectors (if required), we also load a new map onto the ECU to take into account the new cams. Then we also replace the intake system with the roller barrels, this includes balancing and testing the roller barrels are operating correctly, we also map the ECU for the roller barrels too" That's 2 maps on 1 ECU.. think I have talked myself out of it. Going to talk to other suppliers.

Funny you should say that I sent Andy an Email this afternoon asking for info on his upgrade route.
