  1. I also used a Noco on my lithium battery. I think the G3500 was the most economical option at about £40 posted via ebay
  2. Sorry for the thread hijack but once Tony is sorted I wouldn't mind trying a bigger wheel so any 280mm wheels going still? Preferable 3 hole to suit my boss without needing an adaptor Hobbsy
  3. PM sent Paul and thanks for the reply both you and others.
  4. When I spoke to Caterham parts today the chap said it was from a truck (not a fork lift) but that they are out of production but I think he said Redline or someone was looking at alternatives...

  6. Many thanks for the replies folks including the full quality page scan via email. Any idea where I can get the handbrake barrel I am missing as shown in the diagram? I think everything else is just nuts bolts and washers which push comes to shove I may be able to temporarily use metric versions that are close. Edit.. found it (not cheap for what it is at £38) but frustratingly no stock https://caterhamparts.co.uk/handbrake/1435-handbrake-barrel.html?search_query=Handbrake&results=30 I've heard that it's a Herald handbrake lever but also from a Mini or a forklift truck but in any case that they are a pain to get hold of, I am not an expert on handbrake levers but I'm hoping that this barrel part may be common to other levers! I will try Redline in case they have one. Unless anyone randomly has a spare one at home? Thanks again.
  7. Hi, I know they've been other threads but I'm yet to find this exact bit of info. The history is that my car was used for speed events for a number of years and when doing so ran with non handbrake rear calipers and so in the pursuit of weight saving the handbrake lever (under dash) was removed. I am now re-instating this so I can MOT the car. I have the lever as supplied by Caterham (see photo) and I'm aware that I need to bend it upwards relative to how is it mounted in the car (so in effect a sideways bend if it was mounted in the conventional trans tunnel position). I also have the relevant page from a Caterham build manual. My (perhaps slightly ignorant) question is - how does the lever act upon the cable? Am I missing a part? I have a photo taken from another website showing the lever but I can't quite see how this part works? Essentially what other hardware do I need other than the lever I have for a successful installation? Help please! :) hobbsy
  8. Hello all I'm in need these two items. Ideally a SPA carbon centre mirror to match my tarty wing mirrors. Similar story for the Tillet seat, I've got a carbon Tillet which I'm fairly sure is a B6 so looking for one for the passenger side. It doesn't have to be a B6 it could be a Caterham one as from what I can tell they are very similar? What do you have and how much do you want for it? I'm in Rugby if that makes collection more feasible (I'm thinking the seat obvs) Thanks
  9. 2nd dibs on the mirrors in case they fell through - I only actually need a centre mirror in case the buyer ahead of me only needs the side ones? Stranger things have happened! :)
  10. Well for one i can't safely drive the car with the standard floors and I don't have a trailer nor a car with a tow bar. So getting the floors made whether by Arch or a third party is a necessity I ran out of time to call them today, re availability and pricing but as said it feels like I'm messing around a fabricator who quoted a very fair price and is trying to grow his business. I don't mind spannering on my own car, it's part of the ownership experience for me with a car like this. But I accept that people either don't have the skills nor the inclination to Scrabble around and fit their own floors. Everything is easier if you just pay someone else to do it :)
  11. Actually it's not quite as straightforward as that as the some of the fold lines are near to parallel but not quite - so the shape isn't a right angled triangle. Any other ideas?
  12. That is a *very* good suggestion - I'd like to think I would have thought of it if it hadn't have been so early in the morning! :) 5^2 = 3^2 + 4^2 etc ;)
  13. Well I've kind of committed to getting them made with this guy to be honest. However what do Arch charge for a pair? I can see what they are on the CC website which frankly is silly money for a bent up sheet of NS4 ally.
  14. Hello all, I'm getting some lowered floors made using the dimensions that Paul kindly sent me, appear to have come from Holland. The fabricator says he's missing the dimensions indicated in the annotated diagram below. Can anyone help me? Thanks in anticipation hobbsy
  15. Is this still available? In any case PM sent
  16. I only actually need the cap as currently have a non lockable version. Will be using the car for touring and I can't be sure that someone somewhere might fiddle with it and leave me without a cap. If someone is counting every last gram and wants a lighter non lockable as a swap for their Lockable one please get in touch! Black though please. Would consider a complete kit if the price is right. Thanks!
