Just a post to let you know that we intend to open this event for booking on Thursday afternoon, 28th January. Simon Maitland

The 2021 Club Trackdays are now open for booking with the exception of Castle Combe on 12th July. We hope to have the July 12th Castle Combe day open for booking in a couple of weeks. I will email you to let you know. Go to TRACKDAYS on our Club website and then TRACKDAY CALENDAR for more information on the events. If you wish to book go to your LoveAdmin account on our website and click on more in the bottom right hand corner of the event you wish to book and follow the booking instructions. If anything changes as a result of the Coronavirus I will let you know as I did last year. If you have any questions email or call me. Hello Blackmamba You are correct. The safety of our members is a key concern at our Club Trackdays so you need to have a trackday roll bar fitted to participate in a Club Trackday. Lotus 7 Club Back on Track in 2021 After a fantastic summer (well most of it) of Club Trackdays for Caterham and lotus 7 cars only we have finally been able to get our Trackday dates and venues confirmed for 2021. Attendance was high at our Club Trackdays this year, so we’ve booked nine events for you next year to meet this increased demand, so get these dates in your diary. Tuesday 4th May - Castle Combe. Club Exclusive Day. Club Novice day with one session every hour for experienced drivers. Monday 24th May - Cadwell Park. Club Exclusive Day. We are back at this fabulous circuit known by many as “the mini Nürburgring. Tuesday 22nd June - Brands Hatch Grand Prix Circuit. Club Exclusive Session every hour. This is a fabulous and fast circuit, and many members will be returning. If you are an experienced Trackday driver Brands GP is a must. Monday 12th July - Mike Scott and Barbara Swift Memorial Trackday. Club Exclusive Day at Castle Combe. The Club lost two of its stalwart members in 2020, both of whom contributed hugely to the Club and to its trackday activities. This special event is being arranged in their honour and will feature a ‘first’ for a Club trackday – there will be a 20 minute session every hour for members to run their non-Seven cars. Tuesday 27th July - Snetterton Circuit. Club Exclusive Session every hour. Snetterton is becoming very popular with members and we had a great day at Snetterton this year. Monday 9th August - Anglesey Circuit, with two Club Exclusive Sessions every hour. This has become one of our most popular trackdays having sold out this year. Great Circuit, great views and great people. Members travel from all over the country to this event. Friday 27th August - Croft Circuit, with two Club Exclusive Sessions every hour. One for our members in the North. This event grows in popularity every year with its friendly atmosphere and a quick exciting circuit. Monday 13th September - Mallory Park, with two Club Exclusive Sessions every hour. There were only two dates available at this very popular Leicestershire circuit, so we snapped this date up. This is the first time we have been to this circuit in years so it will be a popular day. Monday 4th October - Donington Park. Club Exclusive Session every hour. A great Circuit and very popular. It was a bit crowded this year so we will limit the numbers for 2021. So there we have our dates for 2021. Sorry for the delay in getting them out to you but conformations were hard to get with people on furlough etc. As soon as I get the prices confirmed I will open the events for booking. We are planning to have Instructors at all our events at no additional charge and we will have our buddy system up and running again. As usual if you have any questions regarding our events just contact one of the organising team. The Trackday Organising Team will be having a meal together close to each circuit the night before the events and will let you know where so you can join us for some pre event chit chat if you wish. Hi Andy The Circuit operators are saying that the new rules do not affect our trackdays at Cadwell Park and Donington and they will go ahead as planned. Simon

We have someone who is unfortunately not able to come to our Anglesey Trackday on August 10th. If you are interested in taking his place please email me at trackdays@lotus7.club or call the office 01873 777303 on Monday.

Our Trackday at Anglesey on August 10th is on but the event is now full. You can camp at the circuit. The gates will be open on Sunday evening for campers to check in between 5.30 and 7.30. The gates will then be closed at 7.30. Simon

I know that a lot of you were disappointed when our Trackday at Cadwell Park in May was canceled. The Trackday Team have been working to try and secure another date at this venue and are pleased to say that we have been successful and added it to our 2020 Trackday Calendar. Our 2020 Club Exclusive Trackday at the wonderful Cadwell Park on Thursday September 17th is now open for booking. Accommodation has opened up now including camping at the circuits, so we are looking forward to going ahead with all our scheduled events, Snetterton on Tuesday the 21st, Anglesey on August 10th , Croft on August 28th and Donington on October 5th. You will need a visor in an open top car otherwise the circuit operators will not let you on the circuit.

Unfortunately Tim we have had to tell several people that they can not come as spectators to Brands Hatch on Wednesday and to Castle combe on the 30th, as they will not be allowed into the Circuits. Hopefully this situation will change soon. Simon

There are only two places left for Brands Hatch GP on Wednesday and the weather forecast looks great! Don’t miss out on your chance to drive this fantastic Grand Prix circuit. This event is not suitable for novices or beginners. Regards Simon

Hello All As a result of considerable interest from our Bath and Bristol members the Trackday Organising Team have just confirmed an agreement with Castle Combe for a Club Trackday on Tuesday 30th June 2020. This is a Lotus 7 club members exclusive day for Caterham and lotus 7 cars only. This is a very popular Circuit so it will sell out quickly.
