  1. Andrew, I fitted these into my 5 3/4” headlights. See picture posted earlier in this thread.
  2. Andy, Here is a link to the units I ordered and fitted to my car: https://www.classiccarleds.co.uk/products/led-headlights-h4-fully-integrated-6000-lumen-hi-lo-beam-conversion-9-32v If you search for Caterham on their site, only one set of headlight bulbs will appear in the results... a few other bulbs will also appear in the results but these will be for sidelights and indicators etc... Hope this helps.
  3. Ah yes, I see what you mean now Chris. I already have a tonneau cover so I don’t think I need a shower cap. I was looking at a replacement boot cover though as the one I got from Caterham is for a car with hood sticks and I need one for a car without hood sticks.
  4. Chris, could you elaborate... What is putting you off? Have you seen any of their products? I’m interested to hear any opinion good or bad so I can decide whether or not to order from LSD or pay the extra and buy from Caterham parts.
  5. Dave, thanks for your response. Which one did you go for? I’d be keen to see how their materials compare to the Caterham Cars stuff... I suspect that they are sourced from the same place.
  6. Cheers BigCol for the info... I didn’t know they supplied embroidered clothing (as there is nothing listed on their website). Hopefully someone will be along to comment on the weather gear that they produce, which I’m particularly interested in. I’d like to hear from anyone who has bought from them previously or seen their products on a car. Their prices appear quite a bit cheaper then the genuine Caterham items available through https://caterhamparts.co.uk but before I order anything, I would like to see how they compare. Anybody?
  7. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience buying products from Lesley Storr Designs. I tried a search of the archives but didn’t find anything. Here’s a link to the website: http://l-s-d.co.uk The products seem to be quite competitively priced but I would like to know how they compare to Caterham supplied items. Any reviews would be welcome. Kind regards,
  8. Hopefully this picture gives you an idea of the improvement the LED replacement bulbs have made to the output. The left hand headlamp has the LED H4 bulb fitted and the right hand headlamp has the standard H4 bulb. Pictures will be limited at the moment because the car won’t be out on the road until the Spring. I hope this helps. For the price I think these bulbs from classic car leds are well worth it.
  9. I also have a set of LED replacement H4 units from www.classiccarleds.co.uk The items arrived well packaged and with good instructions. They fit inside my 5 3/4 inch headlight bowls easily and the difference is awesome. A crisp light pattern and brighter tone. If set up properly and checked on an MOT headlight pattern device there is no danger of dazzling other road users. Excellent value compared to expensive replacement units and they have a warranty so I’m confident that they will last. I didn’t want to take a risk on some Ebay or amazon bulbs from an unrecommended seller. I feel a lot safer in the car with these lights as I’m positive people will see me earlier especially if I’m in their mirrors or overtaking. I did take some comparison pictures if you would like to see them.
  10. Hey Steve, Did you get to the bottom of this? It felt like my R500 Duratec was intermittently doing the same thing today.
