  1. Does this mean that Millers Oils CRX 75w-90 NT+ Competition full synthetic transmission oil, can't be used on the Type 9 gearbox?
  2. Soft Bits For Sevens link: https://www.softbitsshop.co.uk/the-showercap-53-c.asp
  3. As above. Price please?
  4. Can of worms... Some people will say it affects others will say no.
  5. May I ask why you don't like Schroth? Is it just because of the crutch strap?
  6. My 2017 NS2R review on tyrereviews website: " Given 50% while driving a Caterham Roadsport SV 1.6 K Series (185/60 R13 V) on mostly country roads for 2,500 average miles I have a Caterham and live in Portugal. I bought NS-2R 180/Street compound, since I was told they were as good as Toyo R888 and would last the same or more... Utter nonsense... I got 4000Km from them. I am not an aggressive driver and I certainly don't laptime on the road. I have only done 300Km on motorways. I am very much inclined to say that Portugal has a really hot tarmac... I got none of the great mileage everyone talks about... It's a Caterham, well set up and, with half the weight of most of other reviewers' cars... Could it have been a bad batch? Maybe... Will I buy or recommend them? Absolutely not. 14 - tyre reviewed on February 10, 2017"
  7. I personally think the Nankang NS2R are appalling in the Seven... Too a crashy ride on every road except smooth track-like surfaces, and I experienced tramlining more than most, apparently. I also think the sidewalls are too stiff for the Seven. I remember mine lasted less than the 6000km I was hoping for. At the moment I am using Yoko A539, which I find great for the Seven, giving it is a "normal" tyre.
  8. Thank you BigCol!!! I think I missed them... or at least can't find them on eBay.
  9. I pulled off. Not the type I require. Good luck with the sale.
  10. Thank you! I will gladly accept that kind offer.
  11. Are these the softer SBFS or the harder shell ones? if the latter 1st dibs please if we can sort delivery to Portugal thank you
  12. I think the secret is to keep the foam filter oiled. I use a motorcycle foam filter oil. The brand is Motorex. Works very well.
  13. As on the ChitChat thread... Douro 2020! Count me in.
  14. Hello Xavier! I thought your car had improved, at least in the torque curve... Maybe ask Caterham what they did to the SuperSprint to increase it to 95 bhp? What are you looking for exactly? I can't imagine that engine being capable of big outputs... unless fitting a bigger turbo, which might lead to other technical bits to be changed.
  15. MOG Racing aka Westermann Motorsport...
  16. Watch this and make your own mind... After seeing this a few months ago, just confirmed to me that cheap helmets not always pass what it says on the tin... or lid
  17. Funny you didn’t mention, why I also didn’t ask why members use Evans Waterless Coolant...
  18. So, to the questions post, there have been three replies... auyt encouraging a survey. NeilCSR replying why he does use Evans rj replying why he does not use Evans From the amount of posts this has generated, I would expect more replies to those two survey questions (thank you auyt for the right term).
  19. 1- How many of the non-believers have ever used Evans? 2- How many Evans users, on BC, have returned to their previous coolant of choice?

  21. Thank you all for coming down to the far ends of Conti Europe... I will always be here for whoever wishes to visit Portugal, not only the Douro Valley.
  22. I suspect one uses a potato and the other uses a potato... none are starter manufacturers. I know for a fact that a refurbished starter lasts longer than newly bought units... What does this tells us about Wosp, Brise or any other? Wosp or Brise? Who cares if it works. I suspect a starter refurb every 4-5 years is more important than which manufacturer or rebuilder it comes from.
  23. Hello Paul! I don't know if you have already done this but, I think that one needs to put the KMZ/KML file on the Google Drive or Google Mymaps, if I'm not mistaken. I recall Google Maps not reading directly from the phone.
  24. I made a binder clip phone mount... free or almost free and works https://www.instructables.com/id/Binder-Clip-Phone-Car-Mount/
