  1. I now have a CSR.  The rear is much, much quieter than my old Roadsport.

It's very nerve-racking.  Without all the proper clunking going on behind me, I'm never quite sure I still have a back end!

  2. Fair point, folks.

It is a problem I'm looking at.  I had thought of simply listing the discounts with page number on.  The thing is, every time we add an offer, the page numbers alter.

I think it right and proper to blame Geoff Brown for getting discounts from so many companies.  The man's a menace!

  3. Tim! *frown*

Do you know how much time I spend trying to get Members Benefits discounts, and then you don't bother using them?

    *banghead*

Actually, part of the problem is that we have so many discounts, you could never remember.  If you do go into discounts, it might be worth using the category filter to narrow it down when you're looking for something in particular.

    *yes*

  4. I confess, Tom, the prospect does seem surprising, but it looks as if there might be something in it worthy of  consideration.

Not that I know enough to judge.

  5. Well that would bring us round to the much bigger topic of EVs, where they create their pollution, how toxic their pollution is, how sustainable it actually is, and how we generate the additional electricity.

Meanwhile, a few Japanese car companies appear to be experimenting with hydrogen powered vehicles.

But all this is far, far beyond me.  For the time being I'll stick to flagging up the oil issue.

  6. Might be worth phoning them first.  At least you'd get some sort of quick feedback.  They've always been very friendly when I've spoken to them, but they can get a bit harassed when the pressure's on.
