    Logging out

    I don't see a big red button,
  2. How on earth does one log off? Used to do it through the menu box top right but this now only goes to Sign in.
  3. Brand new, never used. For imperial S3. I sold the car so no use for the hood. List price somewhere in the region of £450 + VAT. Offers invited.
  4. How about using velcro to attach the extinguisher? I've found that very successful.

    MOT Station

Try Tom New. Used to be in Bishops Waltham but I think he's moved - still local though. Web site newpower.co.uk as I recall. Very helpful chap, with a wealth of Caterham experience.
  6. A few months ago I bought a pair of Piloti Slipstream driving shoes. I wore them twice and realised that they weren't right for me, mainly as I have an odd shaped big toe. I missed the deadline to return them. Rather than leave them lying at the bottom of the wardrobe I thought I'd see if they're of interest to anyone here. They're size 8. For full details take a look at Slipstream on pilotiuk.co.uk These are slightly different; they have a red leather lining, a James Hunt logo on the lining and a union jack tab on the outside. List price is £135. I'm open to offers. I have the box, the travel bag and even the tissue paper stuffing.
  7. Now that autumn is with us and winter is on the way it might be time to get a new hood. I have a brand new, never used hood for sale. It was included as part of the deal when I bought the car about 3 years ago. I no longer have the car, but I do still have the hood, which is now surplus to requirements so I'm offering it for sale. The car was a 97/8 S3. The CC list price for a new hood is in the region of an astonishing £550 (Inc VAT). I'm open to sensible offers.
  8. My experience is with a remote garage, but I don't think it would necessarily be different with an integrated garage. The pest control chap was clear that they like to spend the winter in dry, relatively warm places. So take precautions in all garages.
  9. Rodents can indeed be a problem in garages - they nibble away on wiring and upholstery. Worth using a sonic deterrent and putting down some poison.
  10. I remember being told by a mechanic some years ago that oil extraction pumps are a Bad Thing as they don't extract all the oil and and debris. His view was that maybe ok to use occasionally, but certainly not every oil change. Perhaps he was trying to avoid losing trade to Halfords etc or maybe they have improved since then.
  11. Beware - there are different bonnets even for same model/year: carb cut outs do vary.
  12. Sold the car, kept the hood. Brand new, never been used. Sensible offers welcome. It's in Hampshire, near Southampton.
  13. A glass or 3 of alcohol probably not a great idea before doing any painting.

    Sv full hood

SV - is that the standard size chassis, not the bigger version? Pardon my ignorance - I always forget which is which! Anyway, if it's the standard size I have just what you want, brand new, never been used. Sold the car but kept the hood.
  15. Thanks for letting me know. Yes - hopefully things will change soon.
