Thanks for the info guys. Ever since I took delivery I have been slightly disappointed with the sound from my exhaust and it never sounded quite like some other 7's I've heard. I even had passengers comment on how civilized they found my car! I solved this by removing the cat and fitting the R500 box which made a huge difference. I'm hoping the RBTB will add even more character to the exhaust note. I don't want to blast everyone away, I just want the car to sound how it looks, if you know what I mean. Out of interest the CC upgrade is from 175 to 220 but my car as standard is 180bhp. Will the upgrade make it up to 225?? Buds

I'll leave the 360R sticker as it is and drive like a nun when Mrs B is with me. Has anyone seen any videos for a Duratec with the RBTB upgrade? Buds

I have also ordered the 175 to 220bhp upgrade from CC. This is proving to be very popular as John says I've heard some very good reviews from other members. CC performing the upgrade is a no brainer for me as the car is still under warranty. I must have ordered mine about the same time as you John as I was told it would be about mid January time and that I was the seventh person to order the upgrade in the last week or so! I can't wait to experience the difference and as an extra bonus the bonnet does not have to be cut (as mine is an SV) so I don't even have to tell Mrs Buds I'm having it done! Buds

I was told they were pre production models with no cats fitted. So what would be the typical upgrade path for a 360R/Supersport R?

Help! I might have the upgrade bug! I've noticed that on all the new caterhams reviewed in magazines recently have one thing in common, they have all had the cat removed. I like the clean lines of no cat and the reviews say the cars sound amazing. If I was looking at starting to upgrade my 360R would a R500 exhaust with decat be a good starting point? What can I expect the difference to be in both sound and bhp? Would it be worth an air filter/box upgrade at the same time? If so recommendations? Anyone have this setup or similar on video? I've always used Chipex for all my cars including the Caterham. You need to know the colour code for your paint to get an exact match but the key here is its very easy to apply and get a good result. http://www.chipex.co.uk/

I am using these for long motorway runs. Link They are waterproof with a built in MP3 player. There are no wires from a phone etc to get in the way and can simply hang around your neck when not in use. Sound good and double as ear defenders, the car sounds twice as loud when you take them off! I've also seen a member with one of these bluetooth speakers under the dash just in front of the gear stick. Link

I have run a Formula 1 forum for the past eight years and a 'members only' area has been essential. There are some things that I do not want the outside world to see such as discussions about future changes and ideas etc. I value the opinion of my members (I wouldn't have a forum without them), therefore I run any major changes past them first to ensure I am not going to antagonise everyone. I treat the members area as a virtual board room where all members are welcome but their posts are beyond the prying eyes of Facebook, Twitter and even the almighty Google.

As a relatively new member I thought it was odd that no stickers were included in the welcome pack. I am also surprised that they are not available from the club shop. I would be interested in getting two or three stickers via bulk buy or indeed any other means.

Hi Guys, I am trying to organise my garage for the delivery of my 7 next May. I have several 'things' that will need to remain in the garage and I'm hoping I can squeeze past them. Can someone please confirm the dimensions of the Supersport R SV? Cheers
