Rich M
1st post . I have a small crack in the plastic rear window of my 7 hood. Can anyone advise me whether this can be repaired, ie can the window be cut out and replaced or will I need to buy a whole new hood. If it can be repaired any recommendations by who? Frying Pan
Rich Congrats on first post Hoods are made by Oxted Trimming Company here Not sure if they offer a repair service, but probably a good place to start. If not, there is currently a post on 'Wanted' from someone looking for a damaged hood... Guy See some pictures of the build here. 8000 miles completed! JKJ
Hi, I got in touch with the very helpful chaps at Oxted, wrt replacing the rear window zip. Quoted me a very reasonable £30 for the repair and that included postage back. Might be a different matter if you want the window replacing but worth a try.
