early dedion front shocks [ urgent ]

I've got a pair of old shocks with springs from a very early de dion with live axle front suspension set. The shocks don't have adjustable platforms just for damping.

 

I'm in Darlington, you can have them for nowt, if they are any good and you can arrange to get them collected.

Hi Richard. I have a pair of Spax adjustable dampers with adjustable platforms and springs that I took off my car when I went wide track.

 

They look a bit tatty but are in working order.

I see you are based in Surrey, I work in Guildford if that help things.

 

Edited to say: Before widetrack my car had the trunion type front end.

these seem to be the type to get me out of trouble for baywatch.

i work in godalming and could pop into guildford almost any time.

i will remove one of shocks tomorrow eve [tuesday] to check if the same as yours if wee meet in guildford.

 

what price are you asking.

Richard, I am not sure of there worth to be honest. Once you've seen them make me an offer.

 

Do you want me to bring them into work with me Tuesday and you can have a look, even take them away if you want, check they are al right and put them on the car. As you have limited time wouldn't want to get to Wednesday and find you are still on the look out.

 

Not as if they will take up a lot of room in the tin top.

have just finished fitting them.

 

ride hight 8mm higher with your spring platform settings and quite even

so will try this. will change springs later.
