rgrigsby
Just wondering if there is some magic technique to get this bolt to go through the three flanges, damper and wishbone? At the moment it's gone through one flange and the damper but I can't get it through the second flange and into the wishbone, whatever I do it just won't line up!! It came off so it must go back on but it's proving to be a bit of a battle Rob G www.SpeedySeven.com
Allen Payne
Nothing magical, other than lining everything up. Disconnecting the roll bar, top ball joint and bottom damper mounting makes it easier to line everything up Has the bolt got a taper on the end? rgrigsby
Hmm that's what I thought, there isn't a taper on the bolt unfortunatly. Rob G www.SpeedySeven.com
EFA
Your chassis must be bent! (These mounts can bend slightly and you may need to tweek alignment with a hammer) Edited by - EFA on 30 Jun 2005 14:14:
SimonRHC
Ifound that slowly lifting the wheel up and down helped the bolt find it's way. Simon
