Thanks, for your swift response. I presume it fits with the oil cooler on brackets in front.

I'm awaiting a local repair man to see if it can be repaired at less cost than a second hand purch. (with postage etc). If I lived nearer I'd be round.

I have a steel rad (original fitting on my 1999 K-series) with new core (and unused since). Caterham P/N 73315 (I think). Is this the same as the XF one? If so, it's yours for the cost to me of the new core -- £50.

Thanks for all the offerings, I've now had mine repaired with a high performance sports core at reasonable cost (Cropper & Jones on the Wirral 0151 327 2560).

Now to refit and see what damage I've done to the engine!
