Jason Plato Posted May 4, 2005 Share Posted May 4, 2005 The alternate method is to use an old hex screwdriver , place the popper on a solid surface and gently tap with hex and hammer to flare the popper stem , then turn the screwdriver 45 degrees and flare again . Grubbster Posted May 4, 2005 Share Posted May 4, 2005 There is a correct tool that works but it is expensive - if you have a marine upholsterer nearby they will have one and it takes seconds to use.
